 Well i noticed that after the reapers gave the upragades to the geth 
for example Legion start to care about Shepard wishing him good luck and kinda feel differently than he was in ME2 
he seems more aware, more organic another example is when he told Shepard about those upgrades Shepard states that Legion is ashamed and shame is an emotion. Legoin also states at some point that Geth do not worth better and looks down sad like he bears guilt to the creators 
Also notice that when The Geth destroy the quarians a geth prime walks to you and says something like "We can be persons now" so do they inherted "souls" or at least emotions or am i missing something. 
What do you think about it and correct me if something wrong..

The soul is a metaphysical concept and not to be touched with a 10 foot pole. They have been hinted at having emotions since Mass Effect 1 even. All but stated in Mass Effect 2, though they didn't seem to realize it.

Neither do organics cause they are just robots too. Just made of less sturdy materials.
