I just restarted the save a few times and got it to work for now XD

Yep mine froze up a bunch on the Citadel elevator, and always when I tried to go to one specific level, D2 (I think) where Garrus was. I had to save right before the elevator, quit the game totally, and then resume. Even then it didn't work every time, but eventually I got it to load.
