 I got a mission on Shrike Abyssal, but it just don't appear in the galaxy map. Anyone having that kind of problem?

Kind of... Such as krogan dmz. While I'm not sure of shrike abyssal, some of star systems dont show up until you progress the story, even though you may get a mission for one.

Ex, someone told me to go to DMZ, yet DMZ won't how until you talk to a certain Krogan.

You need to do the first mission on Tuchanka. Doesn't have to be a Priority mission though. That's when mine unlocked.

It's up near the top, I went pretty early in the game. It's one of the Reaper systems

So it's not a bug? It won't appear when I receive a mission there, but will appear further? Make sense, considering that nobody give me coordinates, Shepard just heard a conversation.

No, it's not a bug. You can pick up quests without being able to complete them or even get to their respective clusters before advancing the story mission.

yeah. This happened to me too and I was very confused.

Then I went and did a mission (in my case it was the Priority: Palaven) one. And when I finished the Shrike Abysal was on my map and I could go there.

It's pretty common for the game to give you a quest before you can go there.

It's odd, because Shepard should know where these places are - since he's visited them in the past.

I had this same issue, thanks for clarifying guys - now away from the spoiler forum for me before i ruin anything for myself lol.
