So far the story is gripping (jumped right to it!) and I'm already feeling attached to the characters. There's a lot of emotion wrapped up in just the opening few hours for me. I absolutely can't wait to see where this goes!

That's been my stance, everything so far amazing w/ reserving judgement on endings.

Maybe its because I cut my teeth on trying to time moonphases properly so I could make it in and defeat Minax, but I'm seriously just blown away by what BioWare offers these days. The mere fact that decsions I made two games ago have some impact on the game I'm playing now, no matter how minor, is just amazing. Every time I run into a character that I have history with, and know that my buddy won't even be seeing this character in his play through!?!? Even just getting updates from small decisions in the past, a passing comment here or there, I just get a little bit giddy.
BioWare is still where its at for me!

Please comment here when you do finish the game.donbaloo wrote...
Needed to pop on to ask a question but figured I'd update this post since I'm now 35 hours in. And I've still gotta say it....wow. This installment of ME continues to keep me awestruck on so many levels. For my personal tastes, this series has become the pinnacle of gaming. With all the history and decisions that we're carrying forward over the three games, there's just an enormous amount of emotional and dramatic weight here in the final title. Such a wonderful experience, can't wait to see how it all comes to a close!

Knowing where you are heading in the end, that has got to be the saddest thing I have read here in quite some time.

I hope you're part of the 2% that liked the ending.

This line literally made me so sad. I feel for you. Guess I'll see you in the Spoiler section with the rest of us once you beat it.

I read all the negative feedback about the endings, but I shrugged it off...
...then I played some more...
...and reached the ending...
...and... ARE YOU FRIGGIN' KIDDING ME???
... I stood in front of my screen in stunned silence ...
... I mean, how can I describe what I felt?
... That ending was... AMAZING! I bloody LOVED IT!!!. Yeah, the cinematic execution of it is average at best, but the SCOPE of what can happen. In a game about choices Bioware gave me the ULTIMATE choice to make before the trilogy ended... Thank you writers for sticking to your guns and giving me an ending that was more majestic in it's repercussions than what I'd hoped...

The only thing that would be disappointing is if its a non-ending. No conclusion or narrative wrapup. That would suck, but I can't see them leaving the ending of such an epic story unfinished.
LOL!
