I myself have not completed the game. I am making amends to complete it this weekend, therefore I will most likely chime into this thread because I am sharing similar beliefs of the OP.

I have read a lot of (spoiler-free) hate towards the ending, and I suspect I'll be right in there with the 98%, but for now, I'm just so glad to have an ME game and I'm really enjoying it a lot, and will continue to do so while I still can

Once you finish it KG, you'll never go back to another ME game. It's THAT bad, ruins everything about ME.

It's really hard to enjoy it when all your hear is the ending will be a train wreck. I don't think I am anywhere close to the end but I am having a hard time slowing down. I kinda wanna just get it over with so I can see the big reveal and finally be able to go a day since launch not worrying about spoilers lol

So far 13 hours in I'm totally loving the game. The story, gameplay, graphics, and level design is all great. Even if I become totally shocked by the ending I know I won't be alone and those before me have already hopefully got bioware to rectify / become aware of the fan's dislike for it. I'm pretty content with video games and issues in them, even games like MW3 that are very frustrating with such broken lag compensation I still manage to stay calm and try to have fun. However, I have a hard time in story centric games though having cut off endings or endings that don't leave you satisfied though.

Enjoy it while it lasts, and unless you want all your current happiness and optimism and hope to be completely shattered into pieces while you cry yourself to sleep while re-watching the endings on YouTube (thus torturing yourself further), play only up to the last mission. And I'm being completely serious. I wish I never played the last mission.

Is there a definitive way to know the last mission is coming or does the last mission just come outta nowhere and you don't realize that was the end? Just want to prepare myself
