Has someone at BioWare been watching Andromeda too much? Because... really?
This is just going to fuel more terrible Joker/EDI fanfics.
For those of you that support that, you need to watch the video! vimeo.com/12915013
So about EDI...

The android trying to understand human life is a cliche ME were eager to try out.
And I didn't mind it... Although Edi's sexbot body itself was off putting

I don't know. I think the body is a great platform to help understand humans a bit better. Can't get the full experience when you are giant ship.

References are cool, but ME3 is mostly just a re-hash of other, better sci-fi, due to a horrifying lack of creativity.
So was ME1, but at least they tried to twist the concept into their own. ME3 (and parts of ME2) felt much like copy-pasting sci-fi tropes.

I strongly disagree with this.
Mass Effect is full of tons of cliches and references and all the aliens are based on aliens from other sci-fi. But there is no lack of creativity. This wasn't done out of laziness but as a homage.
The stories, design and characters of Mass Effect are great with a lot of thought put into them.
