I've seen many nice tutorials in the forum, but I'm having trouble finding them when I need them. They're all scattered around.

Maybe you guys think it could be a good idea to creat a Toolset Tutorials forum just specifically for that?

Only tutorials already completed. No requests. No questions.

That's what the wiki is for. People should start getting their tutorials on the Wiki.

Yeah, but that's the issue. People just post their tutorials here, not in the wiki, and that kinda sucks.



I don't mind where they are, I'd just like to see them all together for easy access, and the wiki is lacking many things that are scattered in the forums... :-/

Well I did exactly that in the Level forum   But ya, wiki is where it's at.  Also if you see a tutorial on the forums that isn't in the wiki, please add it in.  Even if you just do a copy/paste and say to heck with the formatting.  One of us dedicated wiki-types will come along and clean up the formatting.  We're making progress though.  More is added to it all the time.

a tutorial forum would be awesome. Youtube videos and such can be posted here. Questions and comments would be welcome too but a few stickied posts with the comments disabled can hold the the actual tutorials.

I've got my hands full at the moment trying to get website improvements for you guys and putting out fires, so I haven't had time to really go through the wiki, but I bet there's already stuff there for most o the categories. If some inspired community folks want to go through the wiki and pick out some good tutorials for the Custom Content and Scripting forums, and PM me links to places, that would be amazingly helpful!

Its a real shame no one can make a Toolset for Dummys tutorial. The wiki is the most confusing thing I've ever read, and I am more than computer literate as I build them, set them up, etc... The only thing I do NOT do is program them, I just use the programs others have created. Maybe that's my difficulty, who knows. Where is someone to hold my hand and explain things when I need them, lol.
