You can buy the first one in Ostagar for an extremely cheap price, comes at about 50 silver. Second one I saw was at the dwarf guy in your camp at 7g and 50s. Third one I remember from the store at the Circle of Magi, a bit cheaper than the dwarf, clocks in at under 7g. I'm sure there are more backpacks elsewhere but these are just off the top of my head.

No one place - there's usually a merchant in every major market who carries one, plus you can get one in Ostagar from the Quartermaster and one from Bodahn any time past Lothering.

You can buy two cheap backpacks from Ostagar, once before entering and once after returning from the Wilds.

yeah i got 2 from ostagar for like 50s ea, the rest of them cost a few gold elsewhere
