Maybe things have changed but heres my issue with the beginning of the game.
When Shepard is talking to James on the com and its staticy, Shepard says "Repeat".
Now I know enough about radio protocol that you never say repeat on the net. Especially when you're talking to Artillery people but it shouldnt be done anyway. You're supposed to say "Say again (followed by the last clear word you heard)"
So hearing Shepard, a career marine do that kind of made me grind my teeth.
Also Lieutenant Commander Ashley Williams. When referring to a Lt. Commander, you can say the whole title, but normally when you're talking to the person, you just say Commander. Same goes for stuff like Rear Admiral. You don't call them "Rear Admiral". It's Admiral. So when I heard Anderson call Ash that, it just seemed weird.
Finally, while its not impossible, it seems odd that Ashley was an Operations Chief in Mass Effect 2, the highest enlisted rank, and then suddenly, 6 months later in ME3, shes a high ranking officer? I mean, its not impossible, but definitely implausible. Most enlisted people, who are enlisted that long, and are that high in that enlisted chain...stay enlisted.
Anyway...
