Serious spoilers:

I was playing ME3 last night and after beating the mission where Udina goes friggin nuts I heard that Kelly got killed by a Cerberus agent after giving them her name when they invaded. I spent 10 minutes once I got back on the Normandy but could not find her name on the wall'o'dead people even though Mordin got on there.

I was kinda peeved to tell you the truth.

By not importing, the game figured she was dead by default and her name was there.
So that's sort of strange.
