I just purchased and downloaded Overlord and Arrival earlier this week. I ran ME2_Overlord.exe first and it took a minute to start doing its thing. When it did, Windows 7 said it was from an Unknown Publisher (which is weird). I ran it, and it began unpacking and installing several files, but without first asking me where I would like them installed. It in fact extracted the files to my C: drive, while the game is itself installed on my D: drive. So there's that. Also, the files extracted were along the lines of DLC_UNC_Pack01 (which I understand is actually the Normandy Crash Site DLC?) so I'm even more confused now.
Installing Arrival went much better. No delay between running the exe and the program starting up, I click "Next" and it goes to the prompt asking me if I want to install to "D:\\program files\\whatev" AKA the right folder. It runs through the process nice and quick, and finishes in seconds.
I run ME2, re-connect to Cerberus Network after if pitches a fit saying it can't verify Arrival, and finally enter the game, where I only see Arrival in my quest log and with all the messages on my Private Terminal and whatever. No Overlord to be seen, but I was concerned from the moment it was an Unknown Publisher.
Can I get anything on this? I'm not sure what's going on and I'd like to finish ME2 with all the DLC before I buy ME3.
Overlord DLC doesn't install correctly
