 Tragic yet amazingly well written. When I found out that basically the Geth were the merciful and good race all along that was crazy. Essentially the Quarians screwed them over bad the same way the Krogan got screwed by the Salarians.

It is kind of late to the party. Tali practically confesses as much in Mass Effect 1 and Paragon Shepard outright accuses the Quarians of attempting genocide.

True... it was hinted at but to see it play out on video was different.

Do the quests on Quarian homeworld. It's the one where Legion meets up with you. It's an AWESOME and creative level. I liken it to the Overlord quest on ME2.

Damn... I was forced to kill Legion. He was acting suspicious and kept lying about things... and it was either Legion or entire Quarian race+ their massive army. I chose Quarians. I didn't get the options to make peace between them despite a super high rep.

The story was well enough done and did in fact fit in with the starkid idea of synthetics will rebel as they seek perfection through understanding IDK

geth vs quarian was a great subplot, but not worthy of being the driving force of the reapers IMO

I like and support the geth, but it's not like their hands were clean. Unless the quarians had an extremely small population the geth were responsible for wiping out the majority of them during their war. Afterwards they killed any organic that tried to make contact with them for 300 years until Saren and Sovereign turned up. The quarians may have started the war, but both sides acted ruthlessly .

I really wasn't surprised with all the hints dropped thru out the series but it was a rut roh moment. While I was slightly vexed, it was vexing (couldn't resist) I had to remind myself it was the Quarians ancestors not the current....iteration. Also, if my iPhone suddenly asked me "does this unit have a soul?" I'd have a stutter moment as well (and then say "no, there's an app for that, you have a virus from unprotected blue toothing)
Even though the Geth felt like kids constantly getting in trouble at school and the principal is always calling me, I choose peace between the 2 and defend Legion.
