I didn't get the chance to change the difficulty until I first took control of Shepard on Earth, I can still get the achievement right? I apologize if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find an answer when I searched for it.
Really quick question about Insanity.

Think it needs to be from start of the game.
When you start the game go to
Extra / Options / Gameplay / and change combat diff before you start new game.
If you not in to far otherwise do it on second playthrough

If it's anything like ME1 or 2 you should be able to change the difficulty during the Escape from Earth mission without penalty. I don't have any facts to back that up, but that's how it was in the previous two games. The first part of the game (in ME1 it was Eden Prime, and in ME2 it was the Cerberus Lazarus Facility) can kinda be viewed as the trainer portion of the game where everything after that is the real thing. But then again I have no data to back that up about ME3.
