I've just had the exact same issue. Bit over 1200 points along with several crates purchased with just earned credits.

 Same happened to me not 5 minutes ago.



Spend about $50+ on BioPoints. The reset happened
right after a game, I was not even visiting the store.



When I finished the last game, the welcome message
popped up again and all my items are gone. 



Wish BioWare and EA will address this issue
promptly.

Yeah sure, I got an email now... I honestly dont care that you are "aware" I paid money for this, just reinstate the points and I wont mention it again, but dont just leave me hanging after having spent real money on it.

I just had this problem also.  Played a game with my latest weapons, and then after the game ME3 said "Hey, welcome to Multiplayer, here's your starter pack"  and all my weapons vanished.  Sucks to play for hours only to have everything you earn reset.  Guess I won't be buying packs for a while and just stock up on credits til this is done.

It also conveniently coincided with me reaching 100% Galactic Readiness

Can you add me to the list as well? I got the same problem, spent 800 bioware points on spectre packs and they're all gone.

Yep same here...had equip items loaded when match started and when the results screen came up the N7 starter screen came up

 Have some issue on martch 8th. Origin ID: Velkezar. 
Just after i got 100% control of all the systems in multiplayer of Mass Effect 3 a welcome N7 message appears just above results screen of the mission. I lost all my opened characters and weapons, mods in rifle still there but don't work and i can't change them. I asked the EA support about this but they only said ask Bioware Support.

I have also had this issue. I had 3 specter packs. Grall Shotgun, Falcon assault rifle, Carnifex Heavy pistol, only thing i didn't lose was my krogan sentinel. I hope they fix this and refund people they're gear or credits/money.

This just happened to me ><" lost a phantom I, a assault rifle i unlocked from my spectre pack (cant remember name cus i didnt used it) I also lost my krogan sentinel and quarian infiltrator ><"

I bought points too and had alot of unlocks from the spectre packs. I don't recall every single item, but I know I lost 2 character unlocks for the infiltrator class, a sniper rifle, a shotgun and 2 handguns but I can't recall all the names of the items (I'm new to this franchise somewhat). it seems two different guns stayed though from the first pack and the engineer unlock is there too, but I lost the other things I had mentioned from the additional packs.   It was from buying bioware points to buy spectre packs.  I have the emails of the confirmations for the points I paid money for.  

Edit/additional info: One other thing, sometimes the menu in the store icon of the multiplayer seems to run real slow, and it might have been on those purchases, I lost the points/unlocks.  Also in the single player on one of my second game saves, it reset my character to default female Shepard and all my weapons on the character were gone. Again that part is single player, for multiplayer i lost 1200 points worth of spectre items, with the bioware points I bought off the store.

Same thing happened to me as well. Lost lots of stuff, including my precious Black Widow. I hope I'm either given back items or all the Bioware points I've bought.

Just a quick update:

I received an email from EA, telling me to reinstall my entire game. Sounds very pointless to me, so I will be holding off on that until I can get further clarification from the EA rep. Here's the email:

Dear ---------,

Thank you for contacting Electronic Arts.

Thank
you for providing the information. I request you to please re install
the game by un installing the game completely. There is not any patch
released till now so re installing the will be fine.

If there is anything else that you need help with, please let us know.

Just had it happen to me

Didn't spend points, but sure lost a lot of credits worth of packs. Seriously doubt that I'll get any of that back...
(I do hope that those folks that spent BW points will get them back at least)

This just happened to me too. I wanted to see how much cash I had, so I went to the store. The match started before I could go back. I noticed in the match my pistol scope was gone. After the match I got the popup that pretty much says Welcome to multiplayer, grab your free crate. Now all my stuff is gone.

Pretty unfortunate since I spend $30-$40 on Bioware points to get a solid base before I did some multiplayer missions. I hope this is fixed. I've really lost all ambition to play now that this happened.

I have the same issue as everyone else.  After a game finished, I got the "Welcome to Multiplayer" screen and my free intro pack.  It removed all of my guns and all of my unlocked characters. 

I bought a number of packs with bioware points, so right now I'm out the value of that money...
1600 bioware points down the drain.
