My first character in ME2 was a Sentinel, and I'm doing my first ME3 playthrough with him as a Sentinel again. However, I'm not clear on what changes were made to the Sentinel powers, and was hoping to get some suggestions or insight into how the ME3 Sentinel works.

For instance, I've heard something about Warp and Throw somehow working together? How does that work? In ME2 I'd always have a squadmate use Lift or Singularity, then I'd throw a Warp at the enemy and BOOM! I'm very early into the game (only about 3 hours) but I know that worked again w/ a squadmate using Singularity and me using Warp. But it'd be cool if I could actually do combos myself now, using Warp/Throw. Still, I'd love some explanation of how that works, as well as suggestions on where to put points into those 2 powers.

Also, how do grenades work? Is it worth putting any points into Lift Grenade? It looks like I can only use the grenades 3 times. Then what?

Warp is a mix between ME1 & ME2 where it has up front dmg (me2) and lets you do more weapon dmg to it for a few seconds (me1) So if you warp someone then hit them with a push, it sets off an explosion...

I find that if I take reave (need to have Kadian as a squadmate) and hit an enemy with reave, followed with a quick warp, it is quite deadly... you can do the same thing with warp & push, but i like reave cause it eats up a bit of there health before you make em explode =)

i find the grenade situational so i skip it, but thats me...

as for point allocation i like dmg over radius

dont pass by your tech options either, overload works on shields and bariors now, and cryo freeze is quite amazing imo..

for load out i just run with the carnfax heavy pistol, and get the 200% cooldown bonus but that is totaly up to you, i just suggest getting the highest cool down bonus you can get...

Quick Edit:  i also use all the armor that i can find that ups power dmg, & power cooldowns... so im more of a glass cannon then a tank... but that just my build

hope this helps!

Dumb question...(spoilers for ME1...but c'mon now...)

I nuked Kaidan on my biotic character, but not on my soldier (which is my primary playthrough). If I unlock Reave with my soldier, will it be available on subsequent playthroughs with other characters?

I was a bit dubious about the grenades at first but if you put points into them they're a powerful tool when you've got groups of enemies. Most levels have grenades in those ammo boxes that are lying around as well so the limited number isn't too bad (it's 3 to start with but you can improve that with points in the skill).

Also, definitely don't neglect overload. It's the skill I get most use out of.

Exactly. Overload was the first skill I maxed.

Chain overload is my Sentinel's #1 Power to Spam When You're Pissed.
