I recently completed one run-through of Mass Effect 1. After realizing I hadn't done Bring Down the Sky (BDtS), I started a "New Game +" with the same lvl 50 character. Which leads to my question...
Once I complete BDtS and do not continue or complete this "New Game +", will my decisions from my first run-through still transfer when I begin ME2? Which decisions will carry over, the first or second?
Please help. Although I really liked this game it took me over 60 hours to complete during many months. I couldn't possibly do that again.
Any info to help calm my nerves will greatly be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I began ME2 last week and imported saves from an initial playthrough and a NG+. Turns out they're separate saves, so the answer to which decisions carry over is either of them depending on which of those two saves you choose to import into ME2, but not both at the same time. In your case it sounds like your choice will be the save from the first playthrough which doesn't have anything from BDtS or the eventual save from your NG+ which does. If you want to import a game with a completed BDtS and the same decisions you made in the first playthrough then it looks like you need to repeat those decisions in your NG+. There may be an option to use these save editors that you hear about but not having tried one I don't know. I just did it the hard way and replayed with the decisions I wanted to carry through to the next game, though I found it doesn't take as long to replay when you mostly know where enemies are, how to solve puzzles etc. Just blast through, make the decisions as you want them and enjoy hearing the story again.

No wukkas. The other thing is that advancement in your first ME playthrough is Level 50, which I found wasn't too hard to hit, but you could potentially level up all the way to the maximum of 60 in your second playthrough if you're fairly thorough (especially killing enemies on foot instead of in the Mako - I think that's a big part of why I fell short and finished at Level 59) and reap an extra benefit when importing your save to ME2. Level wise it's not a big deal because a 59 import starts you off with a few points to put into powers and was enough of a head start for me that I hit ME2's max of Level 30 just before the final mission. But I did find a couple of times I didn't have quite enough money or resources to do something I wanted and had to put it off until I'd gone and got some more. An imported Level 60 character starts off with both more cash and more resources than a Level 59, so if you're having to do a complete playthrough to get all the decisions as you want I'd suggest going for the experience points as much as possible as well.
