Why you guys like Duncan so much?

I for myself liked Ban Teagen much more, i think he has a great personality and is very carismatic!

For Duncan with my chars so far they saw more or less a mentor out of him but that didn't last...

That said, my favorite non-party NPC is Dagna, the dwarf gal who wants to study magic. She is so enthusiastic, so prepared.

My best NPC so far is Loghain, because he is like a real villain. I liked his voice acting, especially the part in the Landsmeet where he goes "Ahhhhhhhhhh! There is the Grey Warden!", which was laced with sarcasm, insult, etc.
But I don't feel anything for Duncan other than the default respect for being a leader. They didn't flesh out his character more before he died.

Never really got attached to bann Teagan. Always though of him as boinking his brothers wife behind his back due to rumors. He isn't that charismatic either.

Wasn't too impressed with Duncan, but then he has a beard (which in RP terms means that he's a beardy player and therefore a min/maxing ****!).

Duncan is besides Loghain the only surviving Book-Main-Protagonist, and the latter became now a real jerk.

I agree about Ser Jory. However, I would disagree with the time length bit. You know Daeveth only slightly better than Jory and he's about ten times as interesting to talk to.Couldar wrote...
Jory? Really? He is more whiny than Allister and you don't see him but for a fraction of the time.
Poor guy, I almost felt like he would be a bro.

Jory on the other hand was very odd. He looks so cartoonish and out of place.

Yes, really. I think he's an interesting and realistic character, and consider Daveth and Jorey as a pair. I think Morrigan is whiny, hypocritical and annoying yet apparently lots of people like her, diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks I suppose.

Heh. Jory annoyed me in the Wilds enough that I'd have sent him back with the wounded soldier - without hesitation.
His doubt and lack of committment endangered the "mission" in my eyes that much.
