I played through ME1 a dozen or more times; male & female shepards, paragons, renegades, every class.

Then ME2 came out and I played through it several times; maybe 6 or 8 total. Again, test drove most classes on both male and female imports.

Then my PC crashed, and I built a new system.

I am about to get ME3, and I want to play through ME1 and 2 again before playing ME3. I finished one run-through of ME1, but am finding I don't want to play this imported character on ME2 (mainly gender/name thing - I played female on ME1, and I want to play a male on ME 2 to romance Tali)...

I looked at masseffectsaves.com, and idn't find a single save that played through exactly as I wished to have mine set up.

I tried downloading a save game editor, but it doesn't work all that well.

I really want to rebuild a few (at least 4) shepard saves form ME1/2 before I buy ME3. But I am finding I don't have the time or desire to play through both games that many times again. I may even put off or end up not buying ME3.

Is there a fairly easy way to edit or create an ME1 save to import into ME2, and the same for ME2 to import into ME3? I'd like to run once through ME2, but on an imported character I don't have... then I'd like to have 4 or more saves to import into ME3 to play through it a few times.

Easiest way is to use the modified gibbs editor and just start characters in ME2 and edit the save to give you what you want.

I use this editor and it seems to work well....
