I've been playing for a while and have gotten to the point when Ashley puts her uniform back on and tells Shepard about her sister losing her husband. I went and did a mission and when I got back both Ashley and Dr. Michel were missing from the hospital. I figured Ashley would show back up after doing a mission or two however I've since done a few missions(including a priority one) and neither one has come back. I was just wondering at what point does Ashley come back as a crew member or if I might have run into a bug.

The same time as Tali. Right after the Citadel coup. Just don't do that mission unless you've taken care of Grissom Academy, finding Liara's troops and finding out what happened to the ambassador's son since those three quests disappear.

Ah, thanks. Just wondering since she just kind of disappeared on me. Back to Mass Effect 3 I go.
