I too have the same set-up.

However I get a screen that looks like static after the EA/Bioware bit and before the "press start" screen. It is supposed to be the screen where you see earth on fire but it looks all staticy and crap

I managed to actually play me 3single player after deleting my save,starting a new game!but after playing it for 3 hours,the disk error message pops again!it just keep saying disk is unreadable whenever i tried loading single player.

For the disc read error make sure you've deleted all corrupt avatar/dlc items.

ah go all the way to left on your blade on the x-box dashboard.

there will be a system settings type deal think it's console.

In that there is a memory option

In the memory option everything is classed in type of info, games movies etc.

One of them will say like avatar or gamer pic something like like

If its corrupted it'll actually say corrupted.

To check dlc just go to the games part of memory, find M.E.3 and see if anything in that folder is corrupted.

A other option you can try is go to Xbox desktop and go to settings. Atfer this go to your HDD and press Y and after that clear system cache. That way you must redownload the patch and you can check if it works.

Sigh...it doesnt work...found 1 corrupted avatar and i deleted it.tried playing me3 and the same disk error happens again.I tried clearing my system chache and redownload the patch many times but the same problem just keeps occuring,disk is unreadable. The weird thing is,this is happening to my me2 as well.my other games are working fine though.this is really frustrating.anyone having the same problem as me?

Yeah clear cache and delete demos is they are still on there

Also check to make sure your discs aren't scratched.

And if you clear the cache and by doing so delete the update, then try playing without installing the update (you will be logged out of xbox live of course), does it let you play?

Nope. Just tried this. Doesn't work, didn't expect it to work. Damn this is simply frustrating, knowing it wont work and knowing that this will take atleast weeks to fix .

Tried the cache thing myself. Yeah, didn't work. Game now freezes on the download screen for the ME3 update I just deleted. Marvelous!

That's just a fix for dirty disc errors not what were dealing with.

u know this getting beyond a joke that this has not been fixed now what is the mater this I bit more pressing mater than a map not working right or charters bit glitch. Ther are ppl hear sitting deleting this that and next thing just to get to even play the game. We just what to know why are gamertag are having this kind of afect on the game plz tell us something. I like the mass effect games and don't what to end up not getting to play ever agen with my gamertag. Feels like crool joke getting to play game for 2 days just for it to go haha no more game for u. I just what to get to play agen plz can u fix this soon and give us something to show ur on it a comment say something of reishorans that ur on it

I also now have this problem, the game crashed whilst reloading after i died on a segment in Thessia, so i restarted and it locked my entire xbox when loading up.  It now locks repeatedly either when i load the game with my GT signed in, or if i load the game without a GT signed in or another one it will load fine, then lock as soon as i try to sign my GT in.  Every, single, time.

I've done everything possible to try and clear it, deleted off all DLC, removed the save game, cleared the HDD cache, deleted and redownloaded my profile, and tried every variation of the above.  Still the game will not load.  I must admit i am rather frustrated to say the least having played through the first two several times over and wanting to complete the whole story arc.  I guess thats what i get for saying that i would be surprised if Bioware managed to leave in a game breaking bug to a mate literally the day before, i mean its not like they are Bethesda, i expect it from them, but not Bioware.  I hope a patch for this comes soon.

I beat Mass Effect 3. I'm a ways through an Insanity playthrough. Yet now? I cannot even make it past the intro screen. When you put the disk in you see the Omni-Tool then the planet burning? When I hit the planet burning scene, within five seconds my screen goes black and my Xbox freezes, not letting me do anything but take the disk out (which does not revert me to another screen like the dashboard) or turn my Xbox off.

Things I have tried:
Recovering my gamertag to different storage devices
Installing the game
Uninstalling then reinstalling DLC
Massive disk cleaning and tray cleaning adventure (all other games work fine, by the way... as did this one until last night).
Tried entering the game signed into my profile ('burritosenior')
Tried entering the game not signed into my profile (it freezes when I try to sign into it).

Funny thing is? If I do not sign into a profile or if I sign into a DIFFERENT profile, the game runs just peachy.

I contacted the EA support too.

Yup you got the gamer tag bug.

Don't worry there's a possibility they are looking into our complaints.

oh and don't change your gamertag if you talk to support.....it's just a waste of 10 bucks.

Also confirmed that deleting your saves doesn't help.

Ye ironick that the ads on tv are about jone the fight to save earth. Well we are all wanting to do that but ur game says no I don't like ur gamertag so u can't play.
