Its been awhile since I last posted. I've been watching silently. But unhopefully. But something that renews some hope for me is then extended ending. But if it aint fixed for the new ending I will ****.

Well, endings out. How's the black screen doing? Mines still very black, with subtle shades of black that really tie together the blackness of the background and blackness of the foreground for a surprisingly strong sense of black screen blackness.

Uh dunno what you're talking about. Works fine for me.  Been playing it since.  I like it.   I feel like doing more playthoughs now.  Even restart the trilogy.

Just finished watching the new ending content on youtube. I can't play through it since my Xbox HDD crapped out on me and I lost all information on it. I also don't feel like playing through the previous two Mass Effect games just to play through the third one, without being royally f-ked over.

I must say though, they did improve on it.  But it still just doesn't sit right with me.

FYI: Most of the 'new cut-scenes' are just still pictures.

Nope ---- a nice ole black hole. lol --- I since moved on now. They can keep the EC. Hopefully the next round of their titles will be less hostile towards their consumers but I highly doubt it -- I'll wait for them to get to the low 20's on sale.

I've been waiting for over 3 months for a fix... I had to watch the stuff Extended DLC on youtube. Love the series and glad to see it has a great ending now... but incredibly disappointed in the complete lack of response or apparent concern this has generated. EA was less than useless and I haven't received a response at all from Bioware despite repeated attempts to contact them. From someone who bought the collectors edition of the game, the regular addition, all the DLC for every game in the series, the collectors edition of the strategy guide, and every other Bioware game to date I cannot express how deeply frustrating this entire process has been...

They haven't even answered me back though twitter when i tweeted to them. They usually did it within a hour now they ignore me.

That appears to be an entirely different problem. If you restart your xbox does it work fine?

Yes, works fine.

I saw a video with the black screen glitch and my problem is slightly different. The black screen happens when I press A in the bioware team message, after the stargaze scene.
My Xbox does not freeze.

I am having problems with the black screen of death after the credits roll and I get the data pad informing me about how Shepard is a legend now, and so forth. Shortly after you expect to see Shepard back on the ship before the end game mission again, but hold the phone I can't because i get the Black Screen of Death after I get the data pad. I was having this problem weeks before the Extended Scenes DLC. I have tried many things as well, and still nothing seems to fix this. I have no problem loading the game I just have it after I beat the game. This is very weird and hopefully someone has found a solution on EA/Bioware's side.

I've done this and many other tips. I spoke with an EA representative, and he said that Bioware is working on a patch for BOTH Black Screens that occur on Start-Up and after the End Game Credits roll. They want all of us to give specific details on exactly what we incounter before the Black Screen. They said it has to do with the DRM of either Mass Effect 3 or XBOX 360 itself. They are aware of the situation and are working to produce a patch for the 360 asap. This patch will address both Start-Up and End game Black Screens. Just saying that this problem is similar to them as I am not the only one with either Start-Up BlkSoD or END GAME BlkSoD.
