The last comment from Bioware on this was more than 3 months ago, and probably no-one commented today since it is a holiday (here in the US at least) and people are out spending time with their families.nokori3byo wrote...
One day with zero activity and even longer since there's been any on-topic discussion. Have we all just lost interest at this point?

Ah, that's right...
I'm Canadian (based in Japan). Without people's Facebook updates, I'd have forgotten all about the 4th of July. Nearly did the same with the first of July, actually.

105 pages, wow. Glad I did the fix over a month ago. I don't know how you guys can go months without playing.
I wont ever be playing it again (or any other Bioware game). What happen here is Bullsh*t and they know it.

Maybe. However, if it was all that easy we wouldn't have a 105 page thread--would we?

It isn't. It's one of the PR steps. Bioware PR tells them to ignore problems that they don't like and hope it goes away. They tried to do that with their ending. It failed. Unfortunately, since we're a smaller number of people Bioware isn't going to try and help us because we're not worth the effort regardless of how horrible the issue is.nokori3byo wrote...

It isn't fair, but other than posting about it repeatedly, returning our games, and refusing to buy future Bioware products there's not too much we can do.

Mr. Priestly
I for one have noticed a glaring lack of moderator comments on the Tech support forums for quite some time. Could you guys please at least give occasional updates on the problems. I for one am living in perpetual fear of falling back into the Black Hole (Xbox 360, in case you forgot). And there are many other glitches infesting the otherwise great game (Invisible NPCs, dialogue cutting out, etc.)
Thanks in advance,
a loyal Mass Effect player.

We do when we have updates. The tech forums, as in the description, are for fans to help fans. Official support is not on the BSN, it is at Game Support.
he has not replied to that message yet, I sent it last friday it is now a few minutes till tuesday.I said...
Oh, because when I called EA tech support they directed me here. Also there was never a Patch 3 sticky posted on any of the Tech Support forums. I cut and pasted one of the others and put it on the Xbox forum, but it was not a sticky and is therefore buried somewhere on that forum. Also, just acknowledging that you are still working on the problem would make quite a few of us feel better.
Thanks again

^^ So, we're on our own. He knows Game Support doesn't know jack about this issue and anyone over there that does know about it probably heard about it by reading the board or searching the Internet. An update would be "we're still working on it, thanks for waiting." Anyone who hasn't fixed the game himself might as well do it now, especially if you're interested in multiplayer. I haven't played it in a while but by the time anything official happens (?) it will probably be dead. We gave them more info than they could have hoped for on fixing the thing and then get ignored when they see how much work will go in to fixing it the right way. First class.
If there is anyone left who hasn't seen it yet, EG NeoMorph's excellent write up on fixing this yourself: http://social.biowar...scussion/21081/

If you're going to let this continue to happen in your future products at the very least add some more weight to your discs so it's a viable paper weight, because as of now I have a waste of $60

I'm supposedly getting some sort of response to my telephone query about this tomorrow and if I don't get exactly what I want (a fix and/or a new copy of ME3 completely free and a written guarantee that I'll keep getting free copies every time the glitch happens again), there will be HELL to pay and you can be damn sure I'll find out how to sue a company.
