To be honest, you probably should just sell it then. Bioware has made it clear they have no intention of helping us whatsoever, most likely because we are a minority. Their PR tells them to ignore us until we go away. Well, we'll go aware. Forever, since I consider this PR strategy offensive and will not be purchasing anymore Bioware titles... as I will most likely encourage others to do as well.
But don't be afraid to do the fix dude. We all did it. Months later nothing has happened. Nothing will. They cant detect it. So don't be scared over nothing. As long as you follow the directions and change nothing else you'd be fine.

Grew a quad, tried it, and it worked. This is a Godsend... I've put over 900 hours into the Mass Effect trilogy and sellin' the games because of 1 gamebreakin' glitch would've been a terrible way to end it.

I moved recently so I've been out of the forum loop but I just got my computer back and decided to check up on everyone and I am just appalled that this still isn't fixed!

I just called Xbox Live and explained to the representative about this glitch, and the fix. Apparently he had talked to someone else last night, who had just gotten it. I am hoping that he passes it around so that all of this confusion gets cleared up with people getting mixed messages from Xbox support, EA support, and this thread. I am also hoping that my Gamertag does not get banned, because even if they can not detect the modding, I have just effectively admitted to modding my account.

Your profile must have discrepancies that is more likely to cause the bug. Game history, etc. all GPD related I assume by now.

I've done nothing at all with ME3 besides play MP since the last time I fixed it. Probably just bad luck but it just makes it more obvious that BW isn't capable of getting to the root of the issue. The game froze on the MP loading screen ( blue computer monitor ), then after rebooting it froze on the title screen. The only thing certain to be wrong with my profile is that I'm connecting to EA servers, which means they're f*cked.

That sums up my feelings for it. Sad part is I'm am going to break down and fix this just to play levitian. After how long I just don't see it getting fixed. Bioware I'll never play another game from you guys again. I'd rather waste my money on something that works.

I'm not sure how long you've been keeping track of this thread, but I have moderate success before. I talked with Kenneth Benedict in late March through early April and that was followed by some activity from Bioware in this thread (that actually made it look like they were doing something).
