Resante. As far as I've seen no developer has gotten better after being bought by EA other then dice. But think about it this way. They have been playing against treyarch and infinity ward who have done no changes to there games since world at war and modern warfare one. Until black ops 2. That has actually changed.

I passed on MW3 but loved Black Ops, and Black Ops 2 actually looks interesting.

I thought Mass Effect was the most original game I had played in a long time, and after playing ME2 I realized how good ME1 was. 3 had its moments but the black hole killed those moments. I wonder if one of the big boys like Capcom or Activision would have have let this sh** slide.

Huge cod fan I am I bought mw2 thinking it would be good and it killed my love of it. Still bought mw3 tho it was garbage. And I have to agree bo2 might respark my flame for it. And capcom I don't trust much with. And treyarch is my favored developer of cod. I have every cod ever made. Tho me1 was probably the best story of the 3 its downfall was its combat. Me2 to me had the perfect balence other then gun attachments and roll. And have you seen the new multiplayer set up for black ops 2 rensante? This is going 2 make it fun again. No camping it really aint possible now. And the big boys at activision let it slide. Have you played world at war in the last year or 2? Guys float around with invinciblity on..... Its just that they don't care after they start working on the next game.

I stopped playing MW2 because of the modders... guys dropping care packages with an AC-130 or chopper gunner every single time got old fast. I heard they fixed the modding but haven't played in years. I played World at War for maybe a day, so not much experience. I never encountered any shenanigans in Black Ops at all and like you say, the videos of BO2 looks very interesting. Borderlands 2 is the next game on my horizon, I have been waiting for it since finishing the first one and it is the only game I am REALLY excited about right now.

I watched the live reveal for the bo2 multy. It looks sick. But this is sooo funny becouse I've been looking forward to borderlands to since the day I beat the first one that will be another swicked game. Just paid off my set for it last week.

Back onto ME3, I really have given up that Bioswear will ever get around to fixing this bug. It just made me so put off that I haven't even played the extended edition. I don't know who is at fault here... could be Bioware, could be EA or could be Microsoft (considering it is a profile error). It may be the fix needed is required in the profile system which would mean BW and EA are not at fault... but then I would expect them to say "Not our problemm, Gov."

This bug is the equivalent of buying a car and the locking system
refuses to let you get into that damned thing. We just want the keys to
work and not have to use the equivelent of a car thief resetting the
locks so you can get into the car again.

The silence is the worst... I think they are just trying to wait out their customers while whisting off tune with their hands in their pockets. Eventually we will just forget about it and go away. Same thing happened with Syndicate (another EA title which makes me think that EA are not willing to pay BW to fix the problem).

It's all theory though. In the end this glitch has soured the previous professionalism that made Bioware one of my favourite developers.

Same here.  some people just did it wrong.  many pages ago others came back saying they had a hard time.  As they're not PC savvy etc.

Netflix on the 360 is a far inferior experience when compared to the PS3 version.

Anyways, I'm torn. On one hand, if there is a Dragon Age III I want it. On the other? I don't want to support Bioware after all this. So... I'm at a loss. Chances are I'll go without and I'll just google the story. Still a bummer though.

I would not say that.  Resante has had it reoccur multiple times and has given up.  If the creator of the fix is still having problems then it is the goddamn game.

Exactly justinsane. Hard to believe with EAs cash they would buy but why not keep the profit margin higher. Nobody cares for the little guy.

 i am no way pc savvy but foud the fix simple with clear instructions.  i applied the fix approx six weeks ago since then the problmcome back three times but is not a big issue as the fix is easy to reapply only takin five mins

Essentially for me, the problem at which locked me out of the game of which I paid for a Day 1 DLC Release, let loose a nuclear bomb upon my impression of this particular game company. There was plenty of other problems with this last rodeo with Shepard. Quite frankly, the writing quality and care went down the tubes and this final product's terrible game killing crash and the inability of it being fixed since April, provides me with a generalized finger saying --- " Glad you paid up --- SUCKER!"

I am equally impressed with the talents of some of you trying to fix something on your own time, without being paid nor being a part of a recognized party that would give you the value and praise you ultimately deserve in trying to fix this disaster. While gammers of Mass Effect have basically torn each other up in a pseudo civil-war of ideas of sorts ( Pro Enders vs Pro-Redo-overs), I feel the entire bitter road was all for naught. The result holds few positives while introducing plenty of negative reactions and for others --- a lasting fail of which will control their consumer choice in the future concerning an EA/BioWare title.

Will people stick to their guns or be seduced by flashy add campaigns and a sea of video clips, advertising, and pep rallies promising something that will not be matched once they get their hands on the final product?

Some of you recently spoke about your plans when Dragon Age III comes out ---- I for one will put my position in the camp that will not only wait and see --- but wait a good long time until the retail price is greatly reduced perchance that I avoid feeding bad behavior and funding an anti-consumer warfare chest to continue such gross malfeasance just for the sake of circular pay-for-play gimmicks with a " MP " attached to it.

Yes --- to Resante and those like him --- I thank you for your efforts. I come back here ever so often in the hopes of seeing a patch... but what for? I guess the end result of Mass Effect 3 will be left in the hands of my own personal Fan-Fic and something that the Mass Effect team truly neglected ---- Imagination.

That's been my feeling for a long time. I've even tried twittering bioware. All for not. I don't even want to fix it why would I just to give them more cash for what they should fix. I dunno if its bioware,ea, or microsoft themselves. But I'm ready to quit. But this sucks. For this day and age to pay for something that doesn't work is rediculious.

Anyway.... 1 more month! Resident Evil!! I'm so hyped. I never felt the same about RE5. Think capcom learned some lessons from that deviation in the genre.

probably not going to buy any new games until November (BLOPS 2, but only for zombies).  I am definitely going to wait on Halo 4 to read the fan reviews (I have learned my lesson well from ME3).  Currently playing borderlands, but probably not going to get borderlands 2 (too repetitive, no choices, no story)
Edit: I am also considering a replay of the entire trilogy in preparation for the probably vain hope that Leviathan or subsequent Dlc will add a non catalyst refuse victory.

How the game even got to the Joystick Award list is another issue of me, really? You got a pretty good segment of players that have had their copies become utterly useless without any support or serious answer/fixes.... but they want award such things? Utterly indescribable.

I really wanted Dragon Age III too. I'm SO PISSED that I cannot in good faith purchase it. Not because of the ending, but because of how Bioware is ignoring us so bad. What horrible, horrible customer support and PR people they won't even TELL US how they're giving up and don't know what to do.

I sincerely hope this bug is fixed soon I bought a brand new xbox thinking that my old one was broken because of this bug. I wend back and did more playthrough's of 1&2 to the extent of a hundred or more hours come back to the game six months later and I still can't play it. I am extremely upset at this issue and refuse to change my 10 year old gamer tag just to play this game.
