Yup that means BW and EA haven't been able to resolve the root cause. On principle I refuse to do the fix again.

So if I'm reading this right, they've never been compensated for the copy of ME3:N7CE I purchased.08/20/12 at 01:39 PM Advisor:

First off let me explain the nature of the situation as it is right now. The actual problem is with in the gamer tag account specifically. Bioware and Xbox are in the midst of sorting this issue out. I know it has been a long time but these things are not solved so easily. We can have you send us your copy of the game and we can send you out a unopened copy. However if you did not purchase the game through us we can not refund you the money as we have never received it.
Additionally and I know this is not the best solution but creating a new gamer tag will allow you to play ME3. It may be possible that Xbox can switch your gold or whatever status live you have to the new account, depending on how much they are able to help in this situation.
Please let me know what you would like to do.

I also like how he points out that it has been a long time but wants me to send in my game to get an unopened copy to return to the place I purchased it.....
You know most (all?) stores have a 30 day return policy from date of purchase for unopened software. So I find this statement to just be flat out insulting given the amount of time that has passed.
