They've pretty much been saying that from the begining.  Even recently giving information we already knew within the first week of this occuring//being posted on the forums

Have you tried deleting it and redownloading it from Microsoft?

As in...really delete my gamer profile? and i didn't know i could actually download my gamer profile. alrighty, shall try that now. thanks

You can recover your gamertag from MS which redownloads it. Don't delete your saves or anything, though.

Has anyone done a youtube vid on the fix for us with little pc experience ?
I think after waiting a few months the fix is looking like the only way for me to play this
damn game. After all the Multiplayer playing has died down I want to be able to play single player,
say in six months time and enjoy it without any gamekilling bugs. Thanks to Resante and other major contributors to this forum.

As a side note to recent threads regarding next gen systems, I may switch to pc. I currently have an XBox360 and a
PS3 and find the online options better on xbox live than psn. So I get mainly exclusives on ps3 and use it as my
media console. While the 360 isn't perfect I have enjoyed many hours playing it . The greed of the console game
publishers for example, DLC and online passes etc , has made me consider skipping next gen consoles in favour
of a decent gaming PC. Anyone feel the same ?

My PC can't run games, hah. But... I won't purchase anymore Bioware products regardless of system. The lack of customer contact they're showing is flat out insulting. The only good news is that I have actually managed to convince a few friends not to purchase their DLC, and I'm hoping I can extend it into not buying any products period, though I know I convinced one of them of that.

I'm pretty much here just to support my fellow BSoD'ers and rant about how Bioware has the worst PR I have ever seen in a company.

Worst pr ever. Those skyrim ps3 owners **** but at least they can play the main game. I can't play mass effect 3 at all. This is atleast 3 times worse.

Cleared my cache and redownloaded the patch multiple times, still nothing.

 It has been about 3 months since I have been hit with this problem, and I have been emailing Bioware about it for about the past 3 weeks. During those 3 weeks, I got plenty of repeated responses and nonsensical answers about the problem. Finally got a response that made sense saying they knew about it and were working on the problem, but I think they have been just saying anything to get me to bug off for a while. Guess we will have to wait and see if Bioware is actually going to do anything so we can play the game without switching profiles or using a profile mod.

why havn't you done the fix yet.  Bioware is never going to.  If you want to play your game that you paid at least $60 for you have to fix it yourself... Didn't you get the memo?

I never said it should (I was trying to be sarcastic, which is quite difficult over the internet).  But the sad truth is that there is no other option, bioware is probably never going to fix it (or they will include the patch in a paid dlc and then ban anyone who fixes it themselves, unless they buy the dlc)

The fix doesn't work for me...apparently, my problem seems to be different from the rest. I couldn't even play more than 10% of the game without getting a disk read error message.

Yes, the disk read error appears to be something else. I haven't encountered it myself, but have you tried installing the game to the HDD or exchanging the game for a new copy (if possible)?

We need to build a pit outside EA headquarters for these Mass Effect 3 discs, like there was for the Atari ET cartridge.
