Eh one of the best games I've played.....and I wish I'd rented it heh.  


I'm glad I bought the collector's edition, and I'm glad I played it. When this bug is fixed, I plan on loving it some more. and I can't wait for the DLC so we can have a proper ending. I'm frustrated I can't play, but it gives me time to replay ME1 and ME2 to get alternate LI and plot points. Sad, but it passes the time. 
Still one of the greatest games I played, but hey I liked Dante's Inferno, so take what you will from that! ^_^

i drew the same conclusion. mine was working fine until i played the multiplayer. and i put in some solid hours before that so it makes sense to me

oh, and by the way World_Bearer, i like dantes inferno as well, nothing to be ashamed of

Did any of you play Mass Effect Infiltrator? When I called about this issue the guy on the other line said they found a glitch in the game.

No but I did use the Mass Effect Datapad app for iOS as well as the online Gaxaxy at War utility (http://social.biowar...play=galaxy_map)

Yeah no programmer of course but seems to me if your synced there's a chance if it freezes when your loading some part of your account has a chance to get corrupted.

I really wish they would of tested all of this. But instead they release the I pod game the day of ME 3, and the other App came out only a few days ago.

I played for 13 hours until March 10th without any problem and then I am having the same issue. The game freezes the 360 with a black screen before the start screen appears.

Also changed my copy at the store, tried uninstalling, clearing the cache, moving saved games off the system, etc.

If I'm not signed in to my xbox profile then I can get to the start screen, but the game will lock up the system as soon as I sign in to my profile.

It's EA, they only had like 2 challenges for BF3 when it was supposed to weekly. So my guess is they might have one more.

Also after a week of no response from EA I contacted them again. After getting nowhere, yet again, they, yet again, escalated my issue to the "higher department." I was guaranteed a response this time in 48 hours. Hah, don't make me laugh, I won't hear from them. I'd put money on it.

btw in EA time: 48 hours = more than a week.

Ya I played the infiltrator app as well and kept syncing all the intel I got to the game. I can't remember for sure but I think the day after I started the app I had the glitch in the game (I turned it on and played after infiltrator then when I saved and quit that was the last time it worked)

Also I've posted twice on the USA mass effect 3 page and got responses both times from the page asking me to explain better of problem. After I did nothing else happened... I'm still trying to get the word out. Maybe we Gould start bombarding the makers of the iOS app with our complaints too..,

What 'higher department'? Surly the tech teams or IT are the appropriate department to deal with this? Putting this issue before a CFO or CEO won't really do much, will it?

By Higher department, I think they mean someone who speaks english as thier first langauge, and is probably located somewhere in the United States.  Just my guess though.

We had either be given a chance to earn the weapons from this weekend's N7 challenge or be given the weapons as a token of EA/BioWare's apology.

If EA/BioWare rips us off because of a game breaking flaw in their game...

From what I read, there is almost no chance of this being fixed (meaning the patch is live) before the end of the month, let alone before Monday.  Because once they do fix this, make a patch, and test it. They still have to send it to MS for them to authenticate (certify) it, or w/e they do with it. That can literally take weeks.

A day until this is fixed would, but unlikely. 

A reimbursement would be appreciated, and far more likely.
But, considering this is EA we are talking about, we're not likely to get anything at all.  I mean we're lucky if their customer support even replies to the issue within their own deadlines...

I've been getting steady, quick replies from the EA e-mail tickets I send out. Unfortunately they don't offer many solutions. Deleting caches, deleting saved files and getting new disks. I've tried it all and I'm letting them know that.
I'll post if I get another response before I sleep tonight, but I doubt it'll be anything other than the "We here at EA are sorry you are having problems with out fine products..."
