Black Screen on startup

1. You can't get to the start screen, you get frozen at a black screen before hand.
2. You can use a a random gamertag and the game will work
If these things occur DO NOT erase your saves, change your gamer tag ID, or anything else silly.
EA CS will tell you to do this, just ignore them. All this has been tried by multiple people, we know the fix is on the EA/Bioware end of things, no need to lose your stuff or spend points on a new ID.

"easiest was I see for compensation is to extend the challenge until after a patch is released, and if enough brutes are killed, extend the deadline to collect until a week after a patch is released. only way that seems fair to anyone experiencing any glitch that prevents them from playing while remaining fair to people who aren't having trouble playing by not making special prizes for people that got screwed"

I know, what I've been saying since I've started getting this...
"Come on now, EA, lines are starting to get blurry!" I don't wanna pull a Urdnot Wrex on someone..
"This is NOT acceptable.." I would rather have Object Rho sitting in my friggin bedroom than this black screen of death! HOW did this get past QA?

Other than the first guy who told me to just dump my saves ME1 and ME2 because there was no way to fix the problem, they have all been polite and helpful. Unfortunately, they just don't have the ability to fix the problem...

Agreed. This was a nice little vacation to catch up on my fun reading and whatnot, but I'd like to get back to no sleep and hours of multiplayer. But please Bioware, in your own time. Its not like we payed $80 for this game or anything...
