For me it's just freezing with the guide screen up. I'll give it a couple more shots though.

EDIT:  Talked to a supervisor, I think (pretty sure it was still the same guy just under a different name).  Not much help, but he did say that I would have a response in a couple of days, so 2-3 days in my opinion.

I posted a few days ago about a letter I wrote to EA about this nasty issue. It was fully ignored. Since I am studying civil and property law I decided to look into this a little bit more at length. I have no evidence yet but in my research I do feel like this a potential lawsuit. Especially for those who lost the massive mounts of opportunity cost playing other games on their respective hard-drives. I was behind fixing this without compensation a week ago, but now I feel like if something is not done soon without just compensation, then this could potentially be a case. I don't quite know guys, what do you think?

Nah waste of time, small claims court maybe but you could wrangle a refund before you got there.

The problem with this kind of thing is that it makes it better for EA/Bioware to deny all knowledge of any problem rather than work in good faith to reproduce and fix any problems

So I have this issue after playing the game fine since launch, 25 hours single player across multiple classes, and I would guess 20+ hours multiplayer. worked flawlessly through sunday morning then stopped working for me sunday afternoon and now wont work at all. Always freezes for my gamertag, even if I boot xbox 360 with internet cable unplugged. If I sign out, I CAN get to start screen but when selecting my gamer tag (game prompts as cant save without sign in) freezes at that point.

I'm most concerned that the game wont start even when I boot without internet. Makes me concerned that even if I get to play the game, will this mean at some point in the future its denied to me? What if EA Server stops support 3 or 5 years down the road? I LOVE the Mass effect series so that would suck.

Hi welcome to our club, all you can do is email support so they see how many people have the problem and wait for a patch.

Do not change your gamertag or delete saves, this does not help.

Yeah no way am I touching my gamer tag - I want to import my ME1 and ME2 decisions.

Thanks for the advice, but I just tried it. Sorry, it still froze. But thanks for trying to help. Will await more advice.

- the Infiltrator iOS app
- the Mass Effect Datapad iOS app
- the online Galaxy at War utility

Mr. Bioware Employee, i have tried that multiple times on my own before coming to this forum ( sort of an intuition rather than having any reasonable backing). However at your suggestion I did try again. It does not work it seems. If you can let us know about anything else we would all greatly appreciate it.

First I would very much like to extend my thanks to you for aknowledging us and attempting to assist.  

However I just attemped 5 times hitting the guide button at different points in the load up process, all of which still had the same freezing issue as before.  

On a side note trying to launch the game w/o being signed in will still get me to the "press start" screen, however attempting to log into my profile still causes a system freeze when it says "signing in" with the 2 circles spinning past each other :-/

the only way to get a response from the system is to turn it off, even opening the tray causes no reaction on screen.

Also if I were to be private messaged by bioware/ea tech support I'd gladly give you my email and password to recover my profile on one of your xboxes to experience the issue first hand

ME3 is only $39.99 on the 'On-Demand' thing according to Kotaku.
Maaaaybe... oh I dunno... throw around a couple codes and see if we can play that way?

Also I agree with the above.

Nah, a couple of us have already played with different phyical copies, makes no difference, keep your money mate

Ran fine from launch until yesterday morning... game freezes at the end of a cutscene during final battle (possibly an autosave point). Forced to reboot xbox and like the rest of you, xbox locks up right after the Bioware omni-tool logo, regardless of which disc is in the drive. Other games work flawlessly. As others have stated, definitely something related to what ME3 does as soon as it attempts to utilize the profile. Some real answers would be helpful, patch or not someone at Bioware knows what the game is programmed to do at this point.

Oh I've used multiple physical copies as well my good man. And I see no reason why an online version would work when these don't. It was just a thought.

A thought in which I was sort of implying THEY would provide the codes rather than us folks pay.
Would the idea work? The 99% points to no. But... meh. I'm but an unacknowledged gamer willing to do what it takes.

It's $40 at the Microsoft Store.  The game isn't even available in the 'On-Demand' store.
