What they may not understand is that by the time they acknowledge that this is a legit problem plenty of us will have moved on to other games with no intention of coming back to ME3 any time soon or at all, and will have bad memories of this the next time they release a game. I've never been part of any game breaking problem like this but it is interesting to see how it will be handled and at least there is some camaraderie among those affected.
Demands of a refund or lawsuit are funny but that's way overboard IMO. Would we have a basis? Dunno. How hard would it be for someone to post in these forums they they are investigating the growing # of complaints of this problem? Silence only makes it worse.
I disagree there "VEGA" lol.
I was in the middle of the game when I had the problem affect me on saturday. I was halfway thru and really getting into the story, THEN it happens. You can imagine how PISSED I was at this.
Its like going to the movie theater and then halfway in the film or RIGHT when the movie gets good... BAM the screen goes black and the film projector explodes. Usually in those cases the theater gives a full refund to all customers. Are we getting a refund??? At least fix this ASAP Bioware.
The way I look at it I got a few days of playtime and got close to the end of the game.. trust me I was pissed too. I got *some* enjoyment out of it. Once I finished the game I'd probably go for the achievements I missed and then doubt I'd touch it again. If Best Buy offered me a full refund I'd take advantage of it (who wouldn't) but if I were in the process of demanding something for not being able to play the game for lets say, 2 weeks, I'd be happy with some free cool stuff or a million MP credits just to entice me to play the game again (in my situation).
I am curious how this will turn out, I think it will be difficult if not impossble for BW to accomodate all of us who are affected. How do you satisfy a person who has been anticipating the game for 2 years, then can't play it after 2 days of owning it? Sure you can give him his money back, but that still leaves a bad taste. If they gave the money back and let me keep the game, okay.

Has anyone here filed a FTC complaint yet? Curious, because I am considering doing this now. Thanks tykimykk for posting the links to FTC and BBB.
Not bothering, will just get my money back. Well some of it anyway. Still got some time to play with though before Witcher 2 comes out so maybe they'lll fix it and I'll keep the game.

You have to address the masses at some point, and the sooner the better. Customer service, loyalty and all that. I have purchased all 3 ME games and can tell you that the resolution to this problem will determine if I purchase anything else made by BW.
You could start by actually working on the problem....you know crazy idea there.

But before it happened. (also in the demo) When I started up the game I got a 360 window pop up and say something like "You last played this game on another console, The game will now restart with your old settings" and stuff. Now when this happened in the demo the game started up fine. But not in the full game, and after I had recovered my GT.
So Is it pretty much something to do with our GT's and EA's online verification/servers and whatnot? I mean that popup window itself mentioned stuff like settings, playing on another console etc.

It's the game reading your gamertag, and hitting a corrupted file or something.

Hey, I'm messaging you because I also have this bug but can't post on
this forum. To make a long story short, if EA is not responsive to this
issue, than the victims of this unacceptable problem must bring it to
the attention of the gaming media websites. If enough people have this
issue, than I recommend we email either "ign" or "gamespot" in order to
give it some notoriety. An article from one of them is sure to light a
fire under EA's ass. I can write up the email, but it would be helpful
if there were 100 signatures or so to give it some weight.
Thank you, alex
Edit: Looking at his profile, he isn't a new user, maybe he just hasn't registered it? I don't know.

Yeah I've tried all of that too. online and off.
But why did I get the window in the first place? Because I didn't even play on another console at all.. And ME3 was the only time I saw that msg, the demo too.

I talked with Kenny over the phone just a short while ago, sending some information his way; will be looking into this personally.
Hopefully more information to follow soon.

Not to rain on the parade, because seriously good job...that's better than anyone else on this thread has accomplished. But...what good will it do? We already know Bioware knows about this bug. How is this different from the dozen or so times all of us have contacted Support and gotten the 'we will look into this' response?
