Once QA says that the fix is ok, then we have a fix that is ready to be
made available. So we have to send the fix to the EA certification team.
They test it for an amount of time. Then it has to go to a first-party
(Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, etc.) certification team. They test it for

Wrold_Bearer, I can understand how you feel. But I think that this is a vast improvement over simply beating our heads trying to get through to basic support. Who tell us to do thing we've already done numerous times. Essentially going over their (basic support's) heads and talking to someone who can actually get results.

And apparently it is an issue with the profile... seems to boot up fine on the 360 until the profile is signed in... really EA... really?

Is that simply Deleting from the harddrive then downloading back to the harddrive? Never had to do it before so...

Nope, you don't need to delete your profile. Just sign out, go to the Dashboard and use the login screen from there, then you should have an option to Download Profile. Once you hit that, just follow the prompts which include entering your Live ID and Password associated with your Gamertag and then it will download your profile again!Kabraxal wrote...

Hopefully this might fix the problem. Worth a try at least.
Edit: I should add that everyone else should try redownloading their XBL profile as well, and then rebooting the game to see if it fixes the issue. I don't have the issue so I won't know, but it's probably worth a try to see if that fixes the problem.
