I hope it is something they can fix at their end. If it requires Microsoft to do something to our gamertags I can see it taking much longer... Also this isn't the best look on the mods part. 3 pages and 5 days and they haven't made a comment on the thread.

Not the best policy as far as public relations go. It wouldn't worry me if they haven't worked out what the issue is. but were regularly updating us on that fact. Would at least look like they are doing something...

This is probably the BIGGEST bug in video game history would u want to take credit for that? I wouldn't but a I'm sorry this is happening to a few players we are currently looking into this matter and will address the issue when the time is right would be nice! But almost a week and nothing just bad bad business bio

I don't think you played Fallout New Vegas launch month. Because it was just god awful.

Yeah but u could play new Vegas and Bethesda is pretty known around as buggy developer but u can atleast get to the start screen

Bethesda didn't develop NV, they published it. Obsidian developed it, and yea, their track record is nothing but one train wreck after another.

this bug would have been pretty hard to test for. seems to be pretty random and seems to have something to do with xbox live and the ea server. I just want a damn reply from Bioware

Bad thing is I have to replay 20+ hrs cuase I deleted my game save unless the autosave saves somewhere else,also has anyone tried to change your main gamertag for 800 ms points to see if it works?

Sorta a lot of points to "test"

it is, not sure that it would do anything anyway, would be more likely to be some data that has been saved to our account that the ea server doesn't like

and that really does blow, i still have my original save at least. coied it to my old memory card before trying all that stuff

The only time I was connected to live was day one just to get the dlc and any first day patches. I have not been online since, so I am not sure if this glitch has anything to do with being online.

Still considering its a possible authentication error with our avatar items I had both items unlocked and shortly afterwards the error happened on a freeze

it could be anything. about all we know is that it is linked to profile and not the xbox or disc itself

Managed to get to start screen with 2 controllers signed in to live, one the broken profile. pressed start and froze... thought for a second i had found a work around

The broken profile was in the second player slot

Godof360, I don't think it's the avatar items, I tired booting the game with and w/o them on the console. Still Freezes every time.

This might be a relatively small issue...but it's eerily similar to Bethesda's PS3 issue with Skyrim, even though for me it was on 360. Played over 25 hours without any problems and now it just stops my Xbox full stop any time the game loads. If there's something to that, then this could begin to crop up for more and more people. Be nice if they had some type of information to come and read...

Read about a problem MS was having earlier today with the gamertags resetting the scores. Completely unrelated I know but they advised that if you were still having issues try redownloading your profile. Not sure if its going to work for you guys but just worked for me. Hope for the best for you, going to go play finally.
