Glad to hear some news and progress, although all the credit so far has to go to Resante as he appears to have worked out the most so far ! I do hope we get a patch for this soon, all my mates are getting to the end now, and joining that controversy which i keep loudly talking over as soon as they mention it. Sooner or late i'm going to start hearing spoilers from somewhere.

Dang I take 1 afternoon away from the board and we have all these messages from bioware and one asking for pm's this is great!

I sent mine too, username and password and exactly the conditions of the last time I was able to play ad that I used the iOS infiltrator app immediately before the last time I could ever play

Wish there was a way to search the thread, but has anyone gotten this issue who has never launched Multiplayer, used the iOS app, or done anything besides play single player?

Hey everyone,
Had this problem occur to me yesterday. Played for an hour just fine, then came back 3 hours later to have this happen to me.

A slight workaround (doesn't work for ME3 saves already in progress), allowing you to play with an ME2 save:
1. Create another profile
2. Go to the memory settings
3. Find ME2
4. Find the saved game you want to use, highlight it and copy it.
5. Use the new profile to play the game

Again this doesn't allow you to play multiplayer, but it at least allows you to play with a previous game.

Edit: Forgot to add this addendum, when the issue does get fixed, you won't be able to transfer your working saves from the other profile to your main. ME3 doesn't allow the copying of save files, for some reason (the reason it doesn't work with in progress saves).

Also, I got a quick reply to my PM. I offered the use of my gamer tag to bioware so they can use that to replicate the error. They said it would be a great help, so it may not be a bad idea to offer yours as well.

Nope, waiting to play multiplayer now.  Since it's pretty much required to get the "better" endings.

But you still have to use a new profile. I want everything I do with ME to be on my main profile.

That describes me.  Have yet to try the multiplayer.  Don't like apple.  Played nothing but single player.

Same here. Sent him has much info as I could. Hopfully this means some good news is on the way.
