You know, looking through this thread, also like Resante mentioned our camaraderie.  It does feel like Day 1 again for us in this damn boat LOL. 

Everyone here is getting along so well! because of a game-breaking GLITCH LOL .

Nope, you won't find any bickering about the ending here! no arguments about DLC, or story at all!  I feel like adding everyone here to my friends list, BSN and XBL.  Maybe we should start doing that if we haven't yet.  Lol.  

Then when we can actaully get past the "PRESS START" we can celebrate like launch day again, WOOOO!!!!  =D

I'd check out some reviews on Raccoon City before buying it... my wife bought it and I can tell you it seems nothing like Resident Evil. She likes it so thats all that matters, but I couldn't get into it at all. The IGN review is spot on.

Even though lots of people don't like the ending, I still would like to get to the end on mine.

Got this problem yesterday. Was having Xbox party trouble. Upon reset my profile was locking up while signing in when loading me3. A few resets later I got on and played multiplayer, finished and turned off xbox.
Came back to play a few hours later and now constant freeze same as everyone.This is my profile because the same has happened to my profile on a 2nd xbox, and other profiles work on mine.
I tried moving my saves from the cloud and onto my HD, no change. (hopefully moving my saves won't cause me more issues in the future)

I took today off to finish the game and now I can't. This is enormously frustrating. All these people talking of compo. Here's an idea, they need to fix it now, not in a few weeks once certification happens. Just now. More and more people are getting this problem.
I have the feeling I won't be finishing this game for a month, because the patching process takes that long. On top of that you have to add biowares investigation, debugging and testing. Some poor ppl have already had this for 16 days and it looks likeioware still haven't figured out the cause yet.
Words even with an enormous amount of expletives cannot express my anger frustration.

Hmm.... seems like I was one of the few playing single player when this happened

1) SP (Was in the hub like area at the start of the Sur'kesh mission.)
2) Made a save (It froze the next day after i tried to load the save, then this bug happened)
3) No.

Well, to me, it looks like the best of both worlds.  The old school survival horror (and zombies) of the first three games, with the shooter mechanics of the 4th and 5th games.

I'm mostly interested in it for playing online with my friends, though.

Keep in mind, I've never really been a big Resident Evil fan.  Love the lore, the games, not so much.

From the trailers, it looks like a more tactical Left 4 Dead.

^^ i hear ya. We got it thinking it would have split screen co-op, we enjoyed playing that in RE5. DIdn't realize until we fired it up that it *doesn't* have split-screen co-op

seems like the days of split screen are dying, most of my fav games dont have it.

Yeah, unfortunately most games don't anymore.  They want you to buy another xbox, and another copy of the game.

But it does have online co-op, right?

Yeh, the co-op for ORC is amazing as well as the online multiplayer. Single player is pretty boring but the multiplayer is keeping me satisfied until ME3 works.

I can't bicker about the ending because I haven't even been able to see the ending due to the bug.

1) MP-the session was loading and froze while loading, restarted, then black screen of death
     (SP, I was going to the Illusive Man's hideout....hadn't played SP for a couple days though)
2) Nope
3) MP was a bit "glitchy", temporary freezes of a second or so. characters bouncing around that type of thing (this happened at 3:00a one night.  The loading, restarting, black screen happened when I first hopped back on at 1:00p later that day)

I really like that we have bonded over this issue. I must admit for a while I really didn't think Bioware was going to fix this, or even try. To be fair, its not fixed, but we are getting the attention we needed.

Why do people keep posting gamer tags? I can't even play single or multi, no point adding tags for something i can't play. This issue means i can't play at all, period!
There is no known workaround is there? Its not like you guys are all playing co-op together..?

We waited awhile to get a response, now that they're working on it shouldn't be much longer than 2-3 weeks hopefully

Oh yeah, some of us haven't played in weeks. Its been about two weeks for me now. Others have had it worse. Some on this thread haven't played almost at all. Its a long-term problem aparently
