I beat my controller quite often and have to get a new one... usually when the game I am playing HAS A GAME BREAKING BUG. I have parts of MS 360 controllers all over the place... Problem is that it's usually just the outer shell that breaks and it is just as cheap to buy a whole new controller than buy just a new shell. How effed up is that?

Tell that to the guys who haven't been able to play the game for 2 weeks. If nothing else I think most of us are wondering what will happen with the challenges we missed out on. I played in the first one, but got blackholed before the challenge was over. Who knows if we'll end up getting the packs. Now we learn we'll miss out on a neat 25% XP bonus weekend. If we hadn't bought the game we'd have no reason to complain about it. However, we DID buy it, and can't participate for 1 reason only... gamebreaking glitch that isn't our fault.

When you trade in, (GameStop in my case) you only get credit for the base game disc, and its not worth very much depending on age and popularity. Better to keep you CE package complete with the steel case and all the extras in the nicer box.

If you had standard then yeah I would trade it in. The CE is will be rare as time goes on.

You're in the US right?  Well based on GameStop's current data, For the the FIRST 30 days of release, ME3 is gonna get you $30, then it will drop to $25.

Trust me, just keep you games, I used to trade in alot before, then I REGRET it and wish I had it, then end up BUYING it again later.  Using more money.

Which is exactly why I'm even more ticked off about this whole situation.  The last time I had ever traded in or sold a game was Gex 2 during the days of the original playstation.  I regret it immensely and never traded in anything else again, UNTIL Mass effect 3. (regret it even more because PSN only has Gex 1 and 3 available...)

In 5 days I will be 3 weeks unable to play and what happens in that time we get ignored while they fix face imports and the grissom bug because they didn't know how to reproduce it even though they never came on here or replied to emails or anything and asked questions now we not only miss 1 event but they s@#t on us by having another event this weekend we better get some massive compensation that's all I'm saying

10 days ago that glitch blocked my game. There is still no specific information about the patch which will fix it. It is sad...The problem of this rank should be treated a little bit more seriously. Of course the most important is DLC because players which finished Mass Effect 3 will pay for it... again. So temporarily we are pushed into the background...

We do deserve comps. In game comps won't even cost Bioware any money. We deserve the saber assault rifle, the widow sniper rifle, and an exclusive rocket launcher that pulls enemies into a black hole. I also want a robot attack dog specifically just for us black screeners

Ehhh...well that's two different departments.  You could say they cheap out on their QA dept., don't hire enough people, and overwork the ones they have.

I don't know that of course....but would it surprise me.....not really.

My boyfriend is getting the same glitch in ME2, but he can get into ME3 without any problems (he hasn't started a playthrough of 3 yet though). I don't think it would affect ME1, since that didn't connect to an EA account.

I also got the Black Screen on ME3, but no problems on ME1 and 2

I was mis-interpreted. If they just hurry up and fix it immediately then thats less compo to worry about it. They just need to get it fixed then can worry about compensation after that.
But seriously has there ever been a precedent on compo?
