I sometimes get a black screen on startup, but my main problem is freezing during the game.

Freezing when in an elevator, freezing when loading an area, freezing when loading a save.

Sometimes I can press the Guide button, go back to the dashboard, and then re-load. Other times the whole system freezes and I have to power it off.

Started as I got nearer the end of my first playthrough.

I'm on my second playthrough now (just been to the Citadel for the first time, and have Palaven, Eden Prime, and the 1st N7 available), and it's getting worse and worse.


EDIT: Although tonight's issues have made me worry it may be the 360 itself not the game, actually. I had a freeze on Eden Prime, when just using the Journal. Then I had a "disc read error", even though it's DLC... Nothing else seems to be playing up, though - just ME3.

I had exchanged it for a new copy with the same result. The funny thing is the first issue, when it would not load disk 2 at all, I had just completed the Eden Prime mission, this time the comes in the middle of Eden Prime. Wondering if there is something wrong with that mission in particular.

You HEAR that Bioware????? Over here! Several of us had to resort to some hacking the insides with a little know-how.

Please finalize a patch for the rest of the world to distribute online. We shouldn't even have to resort to this stuff... pain in the quad.

Not to mention smaller bugs like achievement progress reset. But had to make a sacrifice...

I talked to Resente the other day on XBL. Said he'll forward his procedure to BW afterward.

Seriously tho, that felt good. We made OUR OWN damn patch. And I can play ME3 again, SP and MP. BW needs to hurry because not everyone here is willing to do the technical stuff.

But if you do wanna use it, its not that hard once you get a grasp of it. Resante was kind enough to point me to download links to the software, and sent me the XDBF program to my email personally so I didn't have to register for a forum to download it over there.

Where some of us ended up getting dirty and patching ourselves up... I'll be on ME3.. albeit a bit dissatisfied... Still need the real, official patch.

Hey guy's how bout this I just checked my registered content on my profile and it says that my Goliath Challenge content is ready for me to claim but only umtil the 27/03/12, WTF is that about.

Resantes, I got to thinking. While doing the fix and stuff myself.. What do you think caused our gpd to get corrupted with that stuff anyway?

I mean I don't want this to happen again and then I have to use the XDBF and delete those bad files.
I don't want it to "grow back" like a virus or something... We need to know what TRIGGERED it at first.

They did say that the commendation and victory packs would only be availible for one week after it first unlocked.  Then they would disappear, and would not be recoverable.

Please note that you must redeem (open) the packs within 7 days of receiving them. They will disappear from your multiplayer Store menu after that and you will not be able to have them restored. Don’t delay in obtaining/redeeming your packs.

My guess would be that the profile was updating something when we turned off our Xbox. As it's not a save game it would probably not show the "Saving" icon while updating the values. I was very close to getting the Veteran kill count so that might have been updating when I turned off my Xbox resulting in a black hole at next boot up.

Has anyone been able to import a save into either ME3 or ME2 across gamertags?

ME2 saves are gamertag locked it seems, but I kinda got ME1 final-boss save imported by copying to USB and then back to a new gamertag. However, it fails to load due to the bring down sky and pinnacle station not being bought/downloaded onto the new gamertag. If I knew the load would definitely work, I'd pay the $6 to buy/download under the new gamertag but I have no idea if I did that, a new error message might appear (eg that its the wrong gamertag association).

I'm too paranoid to try resante's methods in case I mess something up, though it is nice knowing that there is a final solution if bioware doesnt come out with a patch.

Any updates from Bioware? I got a response from an e-mail ticket, asking me what kind of computer I was using. I told them it was and had been an Xbox360 problem. Not sure how they'll respond. EA and Bioware seem very unorganized right now.

I think the tactics of the tech support helplines is to totally confuse people and ignore what they are saying. Imagine if they handled the fire brigade helplines.

thats so lame why would they put a time limit on it, i highly doubt that they will have it fixed by then.
