.. Seriously once the italians get their patch it needs to close. As should this topic once everything is resolved here. Black holes and dark matter is a more serious matter that needs attention.  

Anyway back to eating my lunch, its only 11:18 here. Ordered some italian food LOL...

I get some of you guys mixed up due to similar avatars, Geth mostly lol.   TykiMykk fixed his, I remember that.  Resante and myself.  Who else did the fix?

You should try the home fix. I did along with the others and I'm feeling pretty good. Knowing that I "patched" it myself lol. I played some MP last night with Resante as well. Today is the last day I think for the +25% XP bonus, so yeah.

Yes, that and someone else said any bonus powers in SP will be locked again, but I don't care about those as I hardly use them.   I'll just unlock them again when I start a new SP game.

Don't worry, I'd prefer a real actual, certified patch myself. But for now at least I can play...

Or worse, punish us for doing so by considering it a "mod" and banning...that's another reason why I'm hesitant.

But yeah, that other thread doesn't say how to fix the Multiplayer, only the Singleplayer.

Okay....so....bit of a snag. Step 1 was to remove your hard drive then download profile to "internal memory". There is no internal memory. Without the Hard Drive it wont let me download it.

And btw internal memory refers to the on board flash mem that some 360's have, like mine. Arcade models have up to 512 MB built in.

Okay...so without that...how do I get Horizon to access my profile so I can delete these .gpwhatever files?  If I have to just directly connect my xbox hard to the comp or something, I'm terrified of that putting my comp back into permanent bluescreen (It miraculously decided to turn on this morning out of the.....blue)

You have to move your profile to the usb flash drive... if your profile is on internal xbox storage you can go to storage and move it to the flash drive. If your profile is already on usb you're good to go on that step. To anyone doing this, make sure to back up all of the files on the flash drive and anything you change.

Well it's just on the Xbox's Hard Drive, and I don't have any USB...soo...what then?  I have a portable computer hard drive...will that work? I use it as a USB all the time.

I don't what country you come from but you can bu USB drives are service stations, supermarkets and all sorts of places here in Australia and their like $5 or something. If you don't have that try busking 1st to get enough change, or shake down some school kids.

Yeah havnig a USB drive is key.  I have 4 lol.  2 of them I use for 360 storage.   
Its good that MS updated the 360 to allow this, thats how all this is possible, whether for legit reasons, or those hackers/modders who wanna exploit, at their own risk.   


This fix, is legit.  its worth it.

I appreciate your shortened steps, but as for the USB, I have 2 problems.

1) I'm broke
2)  Even if I had money, I'm on a ranch up the mountains. I'd need to go downtown to get anything like that.
