Hi everyone ... well I´m almost have the same problem , I beat the game like a week ago , no problems at all ... start playing multiplayer since but when then again I wanna star a new profile whit another ME2 that I have , guess what got the a freeze image ... then again I tried and once again it happened again , ok then lets play my first profile on Cerberus HQ , got it to the fight whit Kei Leng and baamm disc error ... cant read it ... try it again and again disc error ... tried restarting the mission and again disc error ... COME ON !! not even I can star a new profile and finished it ... please Bioware can you fix this ?

stygian blood - doesn't have the "black screen" issue but his Xbox gives him a dirty disc error only on his profile
Joel Rebel Yell - disc read error after update
Tsumerius - in-game load screen issues 
biggdm2 - black screen only affects disc 2 (also receives disc read errors)
Mister_Tez - black screen is spuradic (has other in-game issues)
Leinhart Vlad - says issue was resolved by clearing cache
Spartan222 - disc read error



All the users posted above would surely appreciate some compensation for missing out on the N7 Challenge (Operation Goliath) and/or not being able to claim their rewards.

Ya know, I've been waiting for this game day by day since I finished ME2. It's really killing me that I've yet to even complete 20% of the game before getting the bug.

However with that being said, Bioware is still my favorite dev team and I'll continue to buy whatever else they create. I've given them many hours of my life, and I'll continue to do so in wait of this holy grail patch.

It's taking a while, but I'm sure Bioware will make it up to those of us that have fallen in the black hole.

Last time I played before the BSOD I just finished the mission with legion in the database. Then I played a lot of multiplayer and now Im waiting for the fix bioware! A reply from bioware would be nice....seriously

For me, the last successful log in was at around midnight Mon/Tues, Tokyo time. My new favourite MP character Urdnot Glurg was causing havok en route to lvl 20. I miss ol' Glurg, so don't make me wait, Bioware.

I don't even care about compensation, I just want to play the game. I had to give up avoiding spoilers because I'm surrounded by people who have finished it multiple times already. I preordered the Collector's Edition the day it went up for preorder last summer, only to have it cancelled a week and a half before the game came out because the company I bought it from were in trouble (GAME). I managed to panic-order another copy just before it sold out and paid the overpriced express postage so I could get it the day it came out (because Amazon aren't so great with preorders), and then I get the BSOD before I even get to finish it! My feelings can be translated into SDHSODHJWOWFUEHWODSHF and similar strings of keyboard smashing.

Even if they do fix it for ME3, is my boyfriend going to be able to play ME2 again? I love you dearly BioWare, but you're trying my patience.

in other words, are we more predisposed to another error with a new gamertag vs the general population?
