Still nothing? I just beat the game on Insanity. I'd recommend the Resante Fix if you haven't, guys. It might reset those numbers but... well the sooner you do it, the more it'll be worth it sicne you're farther away from any possible fix.

Good to hear.  

Question tho:  did you unlock the Unwavering achievement?  Cause in the accomplishments menu, the number of completed missions on insane is reset like the other numbered achivements. It stayed locked for you?

I forget the achievement names. But it did give me credit for completing it on Insane, as difficulty does not reset... but I did not get credit for every mission on Insane. I skipped a bunch of missions anyways though so it is OK. I ended the game with 12/27, having been halfway through *spoilers*

The Udina betrayal part. So I just did main plot until the end since then.

I've had this problem for two and a half weeks now. Happened when I was reloading a save for the battle with Kai Leng in TIM's base, about to finish my Insanity playthrough. Very sad and angry.
Glad to see I'm not the only one with this problem, and hopefully there will at least be some official acknowlegement soon. I certainly would wish for some compensation about this situation. Bought the N7 edition, haven't barely been able to play it, and have now missed out on two weeks of multiplayer challenges (I even had two level 20 characters to promote for this weekend!).

Don't expect any compensation at this point. Either wait or fix it yourself like several of us did already.. Least I beat the game now..

Is there an  actual answer about this problem? it just happen to me right now, it began when i tried to get into multiplayer, later when i push start on title screen and now cant even see the title screen, its fronzen everytime.

Do you have a ME1 save from the other gamertag? its not locked to a gamertag like ME2 is - you should be able to copy the save to a USB stick and into your new gamertag profile.

Ok it the end of the mouth and I still can't play this is sum big joke at are expens is it not we all payesd for the game just like everyone els and yet I have not one other person on my freibds list that has this problem. Ok jokes over time to fix this times up get are games work not bothers bout eny other glitch get this one fix its bit more a problem than glitch graphics or gallxie maps. I can live with as long as I can play the game witch I can't with this glitch fix it

I am not sure if this was addressed already, but i was wondering if you change your gamertag if you will be able to finally play the game again. Ea and Bioware informed me it is just a temporary fix but it should allow you to resume the game. Would really like to know if anyone has tried this or is going to. I am just a little hesitant to spend an additional 10 dollars for a fix that may not work, or work very long. This has been my gamertag since 360's launch and i really don't want to change. If the fix works though--I mean 60 dollars is just gathering dust now anyway--so whats 10 more to the pile. Any more info would be helpful now--thank you all.

Thank you JustinSaneV2--My e-mail was from one of the moderators at the bottom of the screen, and from EA's tech support. Sure glad i didn't waste another 10 dollars.

I definitely wouldn't change my gamertag. Did they say change to a different gamertag meaning different *profile* or change the gamertag on your existing profile?

Making customers wait rather than apending money to fix the game.....Yes

Ok, add me to the list of folks who had this problem. Took anywhere from 12-20 goes to get past the startup screen each time, although I did eventually get there and finished the game (another complaint entirely)

It always black screened 2-3 times at least, then would lock up the most on the screen with earth. I also got the disc error if trying to install.

Lousy situation and I feel for those folks who have not even been able to get it started.

hmm well I successfully imported ME1 save into ME2 as a different gamertag. but now, as I am a new gamertag presumably, when I sign into cerberus network as my original EA account there is a blank error message screen (dialog is large but empty just a "Press A"). Not sure if this will screw up the game and the content.

So...you're saying that repeatedly trying to start up the game actually got you past the startup screen?  I'm sure I tried about 10 times, but just concluded that it wasn't going to work.  Tempted to try the stubborn approach, but all that switching on and off can't be good for the console.
