I've played around with programs before, but if it wasn't for what resante found out about the gpd bits and how to remove them, there would be alot more angry posts today, (like my old posts early in thread lol).

Guys how many days has it been exactly? Was TC the very first? to bring it up, I'm sure. Haven't seen him either. Maybe he did the fix and chose to keep quiet and just play lol.

Regarding the last page about our achievements: Yeah its all good now. I just got the Unwavering one last night, 27/27 missions. I just had to keep track of which ones I did in the middle of SP after the fix, and had to load old saves after beating it to replay missing missions, to get the counter to recognize them again.

So yeah its good, you can't start a insanity playthrough anytime man. I just need the 5000 enemies and I'm maxed out. sucks to get it reset since I was at 4000 before BSOD.

Bushido, I got the veteran achievable from just playing multiplayer.  IMO, it's the easiest way to do it, and I know reseting it was a pain since I almost had it before doing the community fix too.

Reapers on silver would probably work best, if you can handle it, more enemies.  Also, anyone know if swarmers count towads the total kill count?  If they do, just focus on busting the Ravager's sacs, destroy the swamers it spawns; rinse and repeat.

Thanks for the tip. Yeah I noticed Reapers tosses out more enemies. And swarmers do count.

I haven't played MP as much, just got the previous achievement mentioned last night. Also just replaying SP in general for different outcomes and styles, as I do in ME1/2.

I'll finish up with Reaper bronze. I'm at 3700, final achievement, then back to my SILENT HILL HD. lol. Still own my PS2 copies. Downpour sucks as a SH game lol..

Coming up on the one-month anniversary since the Black-screen stole my game from me. Honestly, I'm so blase about this these days, it wouldn't bother me if they never fix this. It was funny for a bit how absurd this issue was...now it's just sad.

Yup... Just put version 2 up (basically just a tidy up of the first page to include some clarifications).

 its an easy fix, basically theres something wrong with your profile that causes the game to not run properly. so just delete your pfofile from your xbox and then recover it. i made a video if you need help

Sorry man, but NO..  That doesn't work for nigh all of of us.  You weren't on this thread early on.  Its more complicated.

if your profile has a bad gpd then recovering it would reset all gpd's to default. My apologize i thaught all people had the problem shown in the video.

No...


There's only one fix, you can find it in the blackhole group.  You have to use mod tools to repair your gamer profile.  Um basically.
