thank you bioware for giving me a game that has a game breaking glitch in it, and I sure love fixing your crap I find these situations very enjoyable. Also thank you for having an excellent customer service that lets us know whats going on.

I understand. Im just saying that when we fixed it ourselves it because we wanted to play on our own terms ASAP, if we already have the know-how. So I did the same. Felt good personally lol. BW, MS is just being real slow. Its annoying.
Considering those Grissom Italian people got their patch much faster, then proceeded to worship Ryan Warden in appreciation. Wish we could say the same... its like talking to a wall here.

Honestly, it's embarassing that Bioware has taken so long to fix this. This is the worst bug I've ever encountered in a game. Skyrim's multitude of bugs are trivial compared to this -- and still no official fix from BW.
To answer the question in the OP: I was playing multiplayer on Silver. Everything was completely fine, as always. Just bought a Spectre Pack, got my first Asari Adept. On the character menu, I shut off the console. Came back 2 hours later; black screen freeze on startup.

I have a small sliver of good news to anyone that has an iPhone and the data pad app here. I posted about a week ago with my calculations on how long it would take to get the advanced upgrades (at the time it was 500,000) well its been reduced to 25,000 then 50,000 then 75,000 so now each time I run the 5 hr mission I get 3.17% readiness so at least while I can't play I can keep that readiness up. I went from 60% to 96% with the app only in like 2 and 1/2 weeks
