well you are lucky, ive been setting alarms and playing every 5 hrs (except while sleeping) for about 2 and 1/2 weeks solid to get 150k credits thinking i needed 500k, but boy i was glad to see if came down. hopefully all the extra money i make can be imported to the game aswell so when it does work again ill be loaded

Yes, our numbers will keep increasing over time. More and more people will run into the bug, and it can happen to anyone at any time, and there's no known limit! It will consume ussss aaaaalllllllllllllllllllllll...

I have finally caught up to where I was before- back to 2k kills (after having beaten Insanity twice... since doing the Resante Fix reset my All-Missions-On-Insaity achievement). All I need is the 5k kills achievement and the 'Full Galactic Readiness' one, which is just a matter of time. Yay us!

I'd recommend doing the Resante Fix guys. It just isn't worth waiting at this point.

I had enough saved for two of the adv. upgrades.  Just 35k to go for the last.  Any more upgrades after these are finished?

Another new victim checking in here. I actually made this account just because of this bug, which I encountered yesterday.

Honestly, it's embarassing that Bioware has taken so long to fix this. This is the worst bug I've ever encountered in a game. Skyrim's multitude of bugs are trivial compared to this -- and still no official fix from BW.

To answer the question in the OP: I was playing multiplayer on Silver. Everything was completely fine, as always. Just bought a Spectre Pack, got my first Asari Adept. On the character menu, I shut off the console. Came back 2 hours later; black screen freeze on startup.

Something like that happend to me: I was playing MP on silver, couple of hours later went I turned on the XBOX, surprise (Black Screen Issue)

just kidding, the 3 advanced upgrades are it, and just over 3% per 5 hrs means ill have 100% when i finally get to go back and play

I don't think anyone seriously believes that EA is worse than BoA. People in that poll are just sending a message to EA that they're extremely dissatisfied with their products. Hopefully EA will listen and do something about it, but their smug response suggests they couldn't care less.

I just got the Black Screen of Death for a second time. Just used Resante's home fix to fix it again. Bioware really doesn't want me to get the Veteran achievement. To people still waiting for a fix, i recommend using Resante's fix. Just follow his steps exactly and you shoudln't mess anything up.

So they already put out a patch for that Grissom Academy bug in the Italian version. Why is it taking so long for them to patch the black hole?

i also got the BSOD for a second time, last time i don't know what allow me to play again, but right now i think i am going to use Resante's fix, hope everything works okay,

that's because bioware hates Americans and Britts. They would rather patch an irrelevant mission for them than let us play the game at all.
