The Grissom Academy thread comparison really tells you everything you need to know. Bioware cares more about a bug that blocks off one sidequest in one version of the game, than a bug which renders the entire game unplayable and is, as far as we know, present in all versions.

Castle Crashers MP was bugged to death and it took months for a patch to show up, if I remember well.
But the BSOD will definitly be remembered in the history of video games too. Hard to remember a worse exemple of customer service. Downright trolling and contempt about the ending(s), utter lack of communication about a game breaking bug. Well done Bioware.

Sadly, I reached a point where I think Operation Raccoon City is a good game. Probably this gallery of psychos in gimp suits. And the fact that the game actually works <_<

I still get a kick out of the fact that they closed my case file. You fixed nothing and just sweep me under the rug. Xbox customer support never even heard much of this issue when i contacted them a few days ago--only dlc issues. Played me1, me2 with no problems and now this. Just about ready to try for refunds and move on already. Flat-out annoyed to put it nicely.

Doesn't really effect us at all, they'll probably be dlc out before that.    Course not that it matters at all, don't really get dlc for a broken ass game.

^^ I think its more the fact that the core game itself is broken for so many, and BW is adding things we consider cosmetic and all the while some can't even play the basic game. I get the fact that the outcry over the ending may be more well known to everyone than our issue, but when we get a pop in from a mod once a week if we're lucky, its discouraging.

We havea  good reason, selling a broken product and not fixing it lol.  I personally don't plan on buying any more of their games, and if they fixed it tomorrow I am so pissed off at this point I couldn't play it anyways.

I know, I agree with you (except I'll still play it again when they finally put out the patch).

Meh some bioware fans tend to be too into something or too gainst something it's nothing new.

this is just one big disappointing experience. I was able to beat the game and i thought that the endings were pretty lame but at least I was able to enjoyed the game. I just can't belive they would have this kinda bug and treat its custermers in this way.

yeah i think i couldn't play it either. If I tried i would just keep thinking about this bug and how horrible they were with dealing with it.

Yeah no doubt, plus Witcher 2 soon on 360....though think I'm gonna build a gaming pc now that the semester is almost over and I'll be working ft again.

When I only play one or two games at a time I tend to have a lot of free time if one doesn't work.

I did this as well I posted a link to this thread as well also. I just hope I filled everything in the FTC one out right. (I had a hard time finding Biowares adress for some reason)


P.S. On a side note I know the home fix deletes progress towards achievements but i was woundering if this was the only way Bioware could fix this patch would you be alright with losing progress towards achievements if it ment you got to play. Or if the fix would delete all your achievements? (Only for Mass Effect 3 I mean) I personaly would be ok with it but i was wounder your thoughts.

Did you use their Canadian HQ or one of the American divisions?

I just ended up filing one just for EA then in the notes i said it was a Bioware game. I didnt know Bioware had a American division.

Well it was nice of them to announce an extended ending. Now everyone who can actually play the game gets a second ending while we get ignored and don't even get to see what fuss was all about in the first place. I'm borrowing my buddy's pc and doing the home fix this weekend (or as soon as I beat assassins creed) cause this is just outrageous that it's been this long without anything more than a "were looking into it"
