I agree slightly with the conspiracy theory. The DLC is making them more money, and while black screening more everyday. Trying to fix the issue is costing them. Although by not fixing it most will never play EA, Bioware games again. I know i am going to be on that list.

The DLC is free though, so it's not making them any money -- at least not directly. They're doing it so people will like them again. For us, of course, that means we just hate them more, since we still can't play. Cool new free DLC is just salt in the wound.
Oh, and happy birthday Bushido!

I don't mean to spread wacky conspiracy theories here, but is it possible that Bioware is hiding something?
Like what? The only thing I can think of that would be worth hiding is that they don't have a fix at all and never will. That the black-screen problem is a fluke bug they never predicted and its not possible to really fix it. (home-fix is just life support, don't kid yourself)
In regards to the DLC, I'm sure they'll eventually release alternate endings. The writers won't be around forever and things are very fluid in the video game industry; whats true this week won't be next week and so on. There will be more DLC.
But I am deeply worried that they'll just never fix the bug. Six months from now there will be about 3-4 people still posting here...the rest will have either traded in ME3, or put in a box in the closet. I've been listeing to the soundtrack recently, but I'm going to stop because it just upsets me. I wan't to play the game I bought, but every passing day just hardens and jades me.

The DLC introduces new classes and weapons which have to be earned via packs. Many players buy the packs with money thus the DLC will make them more money even though it's free.Wstonefi2 wrote...

Because why would a glitch that completely breaks the game be considered high-priority? Honeslty there are people who can't play a because they're Shepard doesn't look right during conversations and then there are those who can't participate in the optional side quest that is Grissom Academy! How could you be so selfish?Wstonefi2 wrote...
So, new patch coming out. Black Screen of Death remains untouched.

So IF they find a fix for this, will I loose all my saves?
No, the saves are not part of the profile, they are separate.

This is un-fvcking believable. First we miss out on some MP weekend stuff...twice, our black screen will not be addressed on the next patch and now there is some free DLC coming out !?!? Bioware is about as useful as an STD. I'm getting to the point now where I don't even give a damn about Mass Effect. This is THE WORST customer service I have ever dealt with. They are showing a complete lack of respect for us as paying customers and fans. I bet that everyday they just sit back, smoke a fatty and read all these posts laughing their asses off.
If we aren't compensated for all the N7 weekend challenges we were deprived of and if this bug isn't fixed by the time I've reached my personal one month anniversary then I'm officially done with BioWare and their products.Wstonefi2 wrote...
If Bioware wants to make sure that none of us buy another product from them again, they're doing a very good job of it.
