I agree slightly with the conspiracy theory. The DLC is making them more money, and while black screening more everyday. Trying to fix the issue is costing them. Although by not fixing it most will never play EA, Bioware games again. I know i am going to be on that list.
Happy Birthday Bushido-----to bad your present to play ME3 is still in vane.

I miss the good old days where a game came out complete and if there was a problem you just blew on it to fix it.

The DLC is free though, so it's not making them any money -- at least not directly. They're doing it so people will like them again. For us, of course, that means we just hate them more, since we still can't play. Cool new free DLC is just salt in the wound.

Oh, and happy birthday Bushido!

I don't mean to spread wacky conspiracy theories here, but is it possible that Bioware is hiding something?

Like what? The only thing I can think of that would be worth hiding is that they don't have a fix at all and never will. That the black-screen problem is a fluke bug they never predicted and its not possible to really fix it. (home-fix is just life support, don't kid yourself)
In regards to the DLC, I'm sure they'll eventually release alternate endings. The writers won't be around forever and things are very fluid in the video game industry; whats true this week won't be next week and so on. There will be more DLC.
But I am deeply worried that they'll just never fix the bug. Six months from now there will be about 3-4 people still posting here...the rest will have either traded in ME3, or put in a box in the closet. I've been listeing to the soundtrack recently, but I'm going to stop because it just upsets me. I wan't to play the game I bought, but every passing day just hardens and jades me.

The DLC introduces new classes and weapons which have to be earned via packs.  Many players buy the packs with money thus the DLC will make them more money even though it's free.

So, new patch coming out. Black Screen of Death remains untouched.

Because why would a glitch that completely breaks the game be considered high-priority?  Honeslty there are people who can't play a because they're Shepard doesn't look right during conversations and then there are those who can't participate in the optional side quest that is Grissom Academy!  How could you be so selfish?

Because there is an error with a file that used by the game to keep track of stats and achievements (which makes it necessary whether you are online or not).

I'm sick if this my game has been broken for 3 weeks. Then Bioware adds insult to injury by not adding a fix in the next patch. I have tried repeatedly to get a response from them and they haven't answered once.

I may be derping but I can't get past the first damn step of the home fix.

The USB needs to format to the Xbox before I can download the profile, so when I put it in the laptop it won't read it. The hell am I missing here >_>

Bioware needs to get off their asses and find a way to fix this instead of spending all their time on dlc and a stupid face import glitc. I'm sick of this. Twice I posted on their Facebook feed. The first was ignored. The the second one deleted. Screw you Bioware I'm never buying your games again.

No, the saves are not part of the profile, they are separate.

No, the saves are not part of the profile, they are separate.

Worst case scenario is you lose your current achievement progress.

This is un-fvcking believable. First we miss out on some MP weekend stuff...twice, our black screen will not be addressed on the next patch and now there is some free DLC coming out !?!? Bioware is about as useful as an STD. I'm getting to the point now where I don't even give a damn about Mass Effect. This is THE WORST customer service I have ever dealt with. They are showing a complete lack of respect for us as paying customers and fans. I bet that everyday they just sit back, smoke a fatty and read all these posts laughing their asses off.

If Bioware wants to make sure that none of us buy another product from them again, they're doing a very good job of it.

Sounds about right.

If we aren't compensated for all the N7 weekend challenges we were deprived of and if this bug isn't fixed by the time I've reached my personal one month anniversary then I'm officially done with BioWare and their products.
