I've actually gone back to playing Batman: AC, which had been left to moulder on my shelf back when Skyrim came out in mid-November. All of Arkham's OCD-baiting sidequests have proven to be a pretty good timekiller.. It doesn't quite engage me on the level of ME3, but it's nice to have a game that actually responds when you start it up.

Just got this E-mail today I'm exited that this fix might actually be rolling!

This morning I was on the phone with EA for an hour.  Right before having the call escalated to a Sup.  the call center rep. put a colleague on the the line who then actually emailed me the fix found on this forum.  I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT! THEY ACTUALLY SAID THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO BUT THIS MAY HELP. HE THEN EMAILED ME THE LINKS AND THE "REAM ME" SORRY... READ ME  FILES.  THIS IS EXTREMELY UNACCEPTABLE BIOWARE! YOU ARE LIKE THE GIRL I FELL IN LOVE WITH, TOLD MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY ABOUT, MARRIED ONLY TO FIND YOU SLEEPING WITH MY CHILD HOOD NEMESIS (EA) ON OUR HONEYMOON! BIOWARE I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU!!!!! I WANT MY GAME FIXED! I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO WAIT FOR THIS. IT'S BAD ENOUGH I CANT GET MY COMMENDATIONS PACKS FOR MP IN A TIMELY FASHION BUT NOW THIS!!!!!

I wouldn't get your hopes up.  I doubt EA's call center in India has much pull with EA or it's subsidiaries.

They actually told you to perform the Resante fix?  I may have to give them a call as a means of covering my rear.

I've been on the phone with EA at least once a week for the past 5 weeks... my case got escalated a month ago... a ****ing MONTH. they continue to give me this BS response that the game specialists are busy because of a large release of games... shouldn't there be people who are there specifically to deal with this ****? this is absolutely unacceptable. I'm never buying another EA game again.

This is what I've been worried about. A problem they can't do anything about. Just an "oops. That's never happened before. Thanks for your money, bye!" 
Think they're keeping that news from us until we die down and the problem just fades away?

Thanks.  I hate timezones.  Wish we lived in ME's time.  Just give it to EARTH already.  I hate getting things late cause I'm in the middle of the freaking OCEAN.

cheeseboy: Many of us here have already fixed it ourselves. I suggest you should too, since hope for a patch ASAP is fading fast. Thats why I did mine, got so FED UP, and felt much better doing my own handiwork patch.

Been playing ever since. DLC also.

Maybe for you, but it did absolutely nothing to fix mine. Still the same broken game. I'm done with ea.

It looks all achievements that have progress meters have been reset to zero.  Striker and Unwavering were the only two "progress" achievements I hadn't earned yet and they both say zero as well (Unwavering should be zero but I should have had some progress on Striker).  Maybe BioWare remotely applied their version of your fix?  I did give them my Origin account info...

Interesting. Nothing I saw in the patch notes on here mentioned our issue, but I haven't played the game today so I don't know what the patch actually changes. Needless to say I'll be backing up my profile before playing.

Thus far I seem to be the only one that has benefited from the patch so it's probably either a glitch that fixed my glitch in an isolated incident or there is intervention from an outside source (BioWare).
