In fact I tried to get Bioware to comment on their progress HERE but all I got was... silence.

After the joke that was DA2 and now this I think Bioware has peed off a LOT of customers and will see it in their profits. I think the reason they decided to "stick to their artistic vision" wasn't anything to do with artistic vision at all... I just don't think they want to spend the cash to develop a new ending. In fact I think they probably had a fully fleshed out ending that they had to scrap when the game was leaked on Xbox Live because someone made a booboo. So they made the rushed crappy one instead. After all it's only the ending... it's not like it matters much.

I honestly dont think this bug is ever going to be fixed. Summer will come and go and all we'll have to show for it is a series of emails saying out "issue" has been knocked up a notch. Sad but true.

It's possible, but if that's the case surely there's reason for legal action, right? I mean, I know it might sound really silly, but I mean... come on now. This is irritating that there has been no word.

several people took legal action by filling out FTC reports and BBB ones but i'm not sure if that did anything.

Dunno... It's still in Alpha at the moment. Perhaps they will make a beta release sometime this summer. :innocent:

I'm still doing ME3, but I restarted Skyrim and I'm loving it lol. Forgot how HUGE and open this game is. I always wished that ME and Elder Scrolls would combine somehow, best of both games.

Bioware should have got in contact with EA support to update them on this issue but Bioware are keeping quiet about this problem for some reason. I blame both EA and Bioware equally for this. It's just a LACK... OF... COMMUNICATION and ends up trolling their own customers.

DAY 45 of my Black Screen! I've moved on to Witcher 2. See ya Mass Effect, it was cool and all during 1&2 but since 3 is untouchable for me I have to try to forget about you. **** you very much Bioware for ruining this game and stealing my 60 bucks. Even if they do patch this I might be done, def done with Bioware games. I have lost all immersion I had with the game since I replayed both 1 and 2 before 3 came out. Not about to do it again, and not about to restart 3 either when and IF a patch EVER comes out. Since no moderator is capable of communication on this thread I'll check back in a couple of weeks. You and EA are made for each other. No good ****ing **** suckers.

I guarantee that EA/BioWare won't compensate us because frankly, they probably don't give a damn.

I'm actually not into playing games atm... been reading books lol. I've even got [Prototype 2] three days before release and have only just installed it onto my hard drive and then went "MEH!" and went back to my book before I even started playing the game.

It's weird but the crashes and stuff have really put me off gaming... first it was Syndicate and then it was Mass Effect 3. Crash, crash, crash, lockup, lockup, lockup, lose stats, repeat, repeat, repeat. Kind of takes it out of you after a while hence my "taking a break from all things gaming".

I think that's why I don't want to start playing [Prototype 2]... too afraid to find it is a bugridden *bleeeeeepy* game.

Sorry for the delay. The black screen issue is something the developers are Bioware are aware of and are trying to fix this as soon as possible. I can assure you that this is high priority, and that there will be a fix of some sort soon. In the meantime, if there's anything else I can assist you with, please don't hesitate to let me know.
