Skyrims problems don't even compare to a game that freezes at the load screen. I mean two months is just ridiculous. I have so had it!!!---even fixing it now i still don't even want to play it anymore. News about refunds perhaps?

What makes you think they would offer refunds if they barely acknowledge we exist in the first place?

 Before finding this thread and fixing the problem I contacted EA support by email.

Their first reply asked for more info and I included a link to this thread,

Here is their subsequent reply:

Dear William,

Thank you for contacting Electronic Arts Customer
Support.

To the best of my knowledge, the developers are working on a
fix. Until then you can either for that fix or to try the unofficial one that
can be found in the thread that you linked (page 80). But remember, there migh
be risks involved and we won't be responsible for any damage that this fix might
cause. It's up to you.

We apologise for any inconveniences caused.

yes bioware talked to u but didn't say anything on the forum. The fact is its been close to a month since they said anything themselves on the forum which makes people feel like there ignoring us and the problem which is why people are raging about it. If they at least told us something once a week I would feel better about the whole situation. Ignoring the entire forum for a month and talking to one person and expecting that person to relay all of their information is ridiculous. I fixed my game but others can't and they need to be reassured that their game is going to be fixed.

You know what would shut me up for at least six or seven hours? If EA realeased all the DLC that I never got to play because they didn't see fit to release it in Japan. The Arrival, for starters. It never made an appearance over here and my ME3 experience was somewhat poorer for it.

That would please me just enough that I might sit on my complaints until the fabled patch finally comes out.

Seems so hopeless. Wonder if bioware still working on this damn issue...seem as though they aren't and we will just be left in the dark, having to pay for their product that doesn't really work.

But that just makes me less likely to try the fix as I already have all of the achivements, but if I get through my playthrough of ME1,ME2 before the official patch then whatever ill try it.  Just finished ME1 yesterday.

I was thinking, to the people that EA told to change there screen name which cost 10 bucks on the xbox. Isn't this extortion? They know it doesn't work and there still telling you to do it. I know the money goes to xbox but still, there having you waste money when they know it dosn't work.

The very fact that they don't even give you the money back (hah like EA would ever be fair to their customers!) is outrageous in and of itself, too.

I am truly beside myself that it feels like people here are turning on each other when it should be the other way around. If rage comment was towards me--please you have not seen anything--it was polite. Not on here to bleep every other word i type. Should not have to fix this game ourselves and should be compensated for it one way or another. They need to help us soon or complaints will be filed all around.

I think this will go 1 of 2 ways.

1) Fix never comes out, abandoned by Bioware. Updates will dry up completely and thread will be deleted / users will dismantle and go our separate ways, never to play ME3 again. Issue may or may not be picked up by gaming media outlets but will be largely ignored.

2) Fix will come out ~ Summer 2012 along with the Extended Cut or another mass bug fix. No compensation or the process will be so messy it won't be worthwhile.

The beard is back for another round. All I'll say is this is rediculious. I can't even remember how long I've been waiting its been that long already. Uggh. Nothing beats being stuck in this biohole. Wish I could stick bioware in this biohole show them how I feel. But that won't happen. They don't even read forum they have our money what do they care now? As I've said be4 and will say again. Infinity ward and bioware the lines r blurring on who's who and bioware ur looking a lot worse right now.

I'm starting to think option #1 is far more likely. The abandonment part seems to have already happened anyway.

Would just like to thank Resante and the others that created the fix. I won't play ME3, but it was affecting other games of mine that would prohibit me from getting achievements or even playing while online. Whatever Bioware coded, messed it up good. Thanks again, hope you get what you're looking for

Hmmm.  What are the other GOTY contenders, I wonder.  GTA5, maybe.  AC3 looks interesting...

...at least to the extent that the whole Black Hole debacle hasn'T put me off gaming completely.

Well I once again have the damned black screen. Over two months this problem has existed and in that Bioware has apparently done jack sh** about it.  BioWare is officially the biggest joke I've ever seen.

Since BioWare apparently doesn't respect us as customers then I will no longer show them any undeserved respect.  F*** you BioWare. F*** your ****** poor customer support, f*** your ****** poor customer relations, and f*** your broken-ass game that you refuse to fix.  

I've been a fan of BioWare since Mass Effect 1, I've purchased ALL the DLC for every entry in the series, and I've even supported them further by paying money out of my pocket for in-game supply packs in the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer store.  It sounds like my support for this company ends here.

^^ Justin you have to do the fix for real then. IIRC you're the one who said yours got fixed by itself after the patch? You're the only one here that happened to I think.

The rest of us did what resante did. I fixed mine in March, haven't black screened ever since.
I understand how you feel tho.
