Well good morning those who suffer. I just finished Mass Effect 2 around midnight last night since I was a bad kid who get ME3 then the rest of the trilogy. I was originally excited as hell to make the Geth and Quarians have peace is Mass Effect 3 but...Black hole!
God damn it Bioware, I love you, please make this work soon.
Sad I can't get my operation packs either

SIgh same here, been waiting for roughly 72 days since the release of the game. Only managed to play 2 hrs of mass effect single player till i freakining downloaded their update. Think i'll do the resante's fix soon. can't wait any longer. Disapointing. Wonder how long bioware is gonna 'investigate' this problem

I'm at 62 days or so. And this has been by far the rockest launch of a game I've played. Its flipping crazy. Not even a word from a dev in a month.

This is kinda to a point where one could argue Better Business Bureau arbitration is needed. Lack of customer communication and help when the manufacturer is knowingly selling a faulty product. Maybe if we all filed that would help them get a SE on it or two.

I think soemone here might have done that already...or at least taken the initial steps.  My memory for such details grows a bit hazy over the course of dozens and dozens of pages on the same topic.

Is it just me or is everybody feeling robbed by them!?. I didn't pay a collectors edition to experience this crap! I just don't get it! wth are they doing!? Are they trying to fix it or are they just sticking their thumbs up their asses? Why isn't it known to public!? Been calling EA support twice and they don't know anything about it! WTH!? I feel betrayed by Bioware/EA.
I've been a fan of mass effect ever sense the first game was announced because i knew it would be a huge hit and what do i get! A disappointing ending that ended to fast that left me kinda empty and that freaking "Black Screen of Death"... They say they are "Investigating" it!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? ITS BEEN OVER 2 FRIGGIN MONTHS NOW!

I hope they give us compensation for this because we don't deserve this crap or the silent treatment...

I feel your pain, Shimarama.  I too have been a fan of the series since it started.  I loved the first game and loved the second game even more.  In fact, ME2 is my de facto favourite game.  I've done eight full playthoughs and it probably got into my head more than any other game I'd played to that point.  ME3 would likely be a contender for that title...were it not for this completely unacceptable glitch!

I was packing away my Shepard hoodie earlier today--with spring coming in earnest to Matsumoto, I hardly need it anymore.  What was it about seeing that N7 symbol that stirred a certain bitterness in me?  Not Shep's fault.  He or she is just a fictional character.  No, it's the ongoing disrespect being shown to hardcore fans by the very people who should be reassuring us that something is being done about the BH glitch.  And where's the love?  Make no mistake, Bioware, the people posting in this thread are hardcore fans.  At least those of us who have yet to become completely disillusioned and retract our fandom altogether.  I, for one, am still hanging in there.  I'm a prolific writer online and I'll certainly go on record with whatever happens here.

Fix this.

man this is crazy that this is still happening, to anyone with the ability so I strongly recommend the fix, I already beat the game 1 1/2 times since doing the fix, and i have gotten to rank 144 in multiplayer with 4 lvl 20 characters a 19 and a 16.

do the fix its totally worth it and easy with the instructions

Yeah i will try that. But that's not the point. it's a matter of principle, You don't buy a product that doesn't work, they are obligated to fix this problem as soon as it appear and all we get is the silent treatment and expect that the problem will go away. I think its disrespectful to us who's been buying their products for years. 
But anyways since Bioware/EA ain't doing #%&, we have to fix by ourselves because we don't have much choice. They're the ones who should fix this, not us.

I've yet to do the fix mainly out of stubborness, I shouldn't have to RISK (because if there's any back lash, bioware won't take responsibility for it) my account to fix something that should have been working.

I can understand it taking time to fix a game breaking bug, but this is out of hand. I asked a buddy of mine that works on another development team and according to him if they've yet to fix this it's because either the fix is too difficult, or the time required doesn't justify the resources needed for the small population of affected players.

Wouldn't be surprised if this turned out to be the case and when or if it is ever admitted I feel full refunds are in order for those who haven't fixed it themselves. Mark my words, whatever happens it will be messy for one side or the other. If the issue isn't fixed by the next patch I don't plan on giving another cent to Bioware.

75 days for my black screen. Almost to 100! Bioware, EA, Thomas Abram and the rest of the moderators on this forum need to grow a set balls and tell us what the hell is going on here. The complete lack of communication has actually become a bigger deal for me now than not playing this stupid fvcking game. Bi-weekly updates are not to much to ask for. This clearly demonstrates that Bioware does not give a damn about it's fans. If we are such a small group of people having this problem than FULL refunds should not be an issue. What did they make on this game? How many millions? If it's too difficult to fix then everyone over there should pick up a new career. This is their business and we the fans pay Bioware's bills. I'm at the point now where I could really care less if Bioware burned to the ground. They will never see another dollar from me ever again. They just seem like a bunch of cowards running away from the problem, tail tucked up their ass and all.

I really can't believe I kept the first 2 games so I could have the whole trilogy to play whenever I wanted. I should have sold them with my other old games long ago. What are they worth now, like 2 bucks? Certainly are not worth replaying since I can't finish the story. Fvck you Bioware.
