Personally I am quite upset about this and the M90 Indra SR....I am very serious about wanting to have the full Mass Effect 3 single player experience including all DLC available for it. At this point both of these weapons should be at least sold separately over PSN and XBL.

I've looked around and i can't find any confirmation that the DLC was PC exclusive prior to the actual sending out of the codes. I'm very disappointed because the raider was the reason i pre-ordered from origin in the first place. I'm hoping that it will be released as free DLC in the future, though unlikely.

Biowares next DLC , no matter what it consists of should be complamentary. I never experienced or have seen so many issues with so many codes. Its EA , they have WAY TO MUCH DLC !!!

That was the same case with me and the majority of us who pre ordered from Origin, so I have to say it, its pretty clear isnt it? Bioware lead us on until they got our money then slapped us across the face without a care in the world, and to add salt to the wound they refuse to respond to the many threads on the topic.

But an actual fix, via releasing the DLC(having been adapted for the consoles) to those who had preordered it for systems other then than the PC. I mean Origin is owned by EA, who is in turn the producer of the game. You would think they would be able to release DLC content on more then one system.

They are but fact is they simply dont care... sad part is i EXPECT to get screwed by EA/Origin but i didnt expect to get screwed by Bioware...

Console games cant fit half the ammount of content in a game like PC games can. And if ME3 is already 2 discs for XBOX your already pushing the boundry. So they must patch the game to get M90 Sniper Rifle and AT.12 Shotgun Pack/Armor. I hope consoles get these weapons too because i would be pissed. I was under the inpression that Everyone who pre orders at Origins will recieve the DLC no matter what.

Well if we make a big enough stink they will eventually release them as purchaseable DLC. Of course that still doesn't excuse the fact we didn't get what we were lead to believe we already paid for.

It looks like it. He dared to ask BioWare to repond to this issue and he got punished for it by getting his Mod status taken away. They clearly have no intention of making this situation right it seems. They probably plan to simply ignore their customers once again.

Just got off the chat with customer service. The best thing they can do for you is give you the N7 warfare gear. It worked out for me because that's actually what I had wanted ORIGIN-ally(hahaha I'm awesome.) Neways, it still sucks for the guys that wanted shotgun, but from the way I understand it. There are simply no codes that exist for the shotgun on console.

To those that are willing to settle for the N7 gear, you kinda have to be a little forthcoming about it. Otherwise, the rep you get will probably be inclined to do squat. This was the case in my first attempt that basically went like this.

rep: Hello..welcome..ea problems...something something?
you: Ya, I pre-ordered...n7....on origin...haven't received my shotgun code
rep: PC only
you: That's dissappointing
rep: Ya sucks. Is there anything else I can help you with?
you:...Ima go cry now
rep: Alright, thank you for using Avina (or something like that/chat ends)

My second attempt is what got me the warfare gear.

you: Hello, Brijesh. I pre-ordered mass effect 3 n7 collector's edition from origin for xbox. I talked to a game advisor earlier today about the raider shotgun that I thought was suppose to come with all pre-orders. However, he informed me that it was for pc only.

you: I consulted the Bioware forums and found that this was a common problem. I did find that some of my aquaintances on the site recieved the n7 warfare gear in compensation

That makes no sense at all....he respectfully voiced a valid complaint, nothing more. Plus if he had done something wrong in creating this thread why would it still be open and not locked?

I'm guessing there was some catch 22 in the agreement he had to become a moderator that stated something like: "you have no right to ever say anything negative about EA or EA products even if true and a very valid and legitimate complaint".....either that or some PM discussion with a BioWare employee went wrong.

Yeah, it did get a stick, but still, there is nothing wrong with that. There are more than10 threads about this and BioWare hasn't responded in none of them. Us counsel gamers would like an answer and a possible compensation in terms of other DLC to make up for EA/Origin and BioWare's False Advertising. Instead of giving us some info, they decided to take away the Mod status from on BSN respected members.

This is a discouraging situation in terms of integrity. I PM'ed Chris for a response yesterday, but never got anything back.

I'm going to be calling customer service soon, since I don't need an extra copy I ordered for a bonus I didn't get.

This whole situation just disgusts me. It's left such a bad taste in my mouth that my Mass Effect fandom has dropped considerably. I haven't even gotten my game shipped to me yet and I'm not as excited about playing it as I was before. So much for fan service. If this is how BioWare likes to act (running their forums like a dictatorship), then it honestly makes me question the quality of ME3 in comparison to the last two. IMO, ME2 was a dumbed down version of ME1 and suffered in quality as a result. The demo really didn't impress me all that much either. After how I've seen BioWare and EA act in regards to this preorder shindig, I'm actually kind of glad this is the last game in the series and hopefully I'm not motivated in any way to buy BioWare's next game. Already decided Dragon Age 3 is a definite no-go. What happened to this developer? Did EA really have that much of a negative influence?
