@Alchemist, Cool. I suspect that their either inundated by post launch traffic and responsibilities or they may be avoiding the issue to avoid admitting someone messed up. Who knows which.

If you have the PC version, contact their Customer service. If you got the 360 or PS3 version, your out of luck cause they won't give you anything aside from teh M55

What we need to do is stand together and make enough noise to be heard, thats the only way they pay attention.

@Ceejus, the game is still great and a good experience. If you're like me, perhaps treat it like ending a BW series on a high note and move on. The industry shenanigans are definitely frustrating.

They're more than frustrating, they're illegal. They just know no one will pursue any lawsuits over something they consider to be minor. I just can't bring myself to buy anymore products from a developer that pulls stuff like this. I used to buy BioWare games just because I loved BioWare and loved playing sequels, regardless of quality. Now, it'll really take a lot to get me to buy another BioWare game from here on in. Yes, having to wait 3 days to play the game for nothing really did leave that bad a taste in my mouth, sorry to say. I'm sure BioWare will be fine without the people who got fed up with them, but how much better could they be doing if they didn't undermine people like this is the question.

I don't agree with it, but most major developers / publishers are doing that now. The only way to avoid it is really to stop gaming altogether.... I haven't gone that far yet, but it's close.
Misleading advertising is one thing, but there isn't presently anything illegal about DLC practices considering they are optional. It's just a bad practice that harms the consumer.

I guess that's that, then...
Javier served this community since the start of BSN. But hey, zero tolerance seems to be the word, right?

They did that? That's mean! I guess they really really don't want anybody on here who disagree's with them in any ways.

Offered me DLC I already had and Shot Gun for PC(I bought 2 copies of Collectors PS3 & Xbox from Gamestop & 2 copies from origin PS3 & Xbox) All pre order stuff...Pretty good customer and I'm sure I'm not alone..... So other then the shot gun or the xbox terminus/blackstorm/inferno for ME2 nothing I need....
P.S. its a shame sony offers all the DLC for ME2 and its impossible to get on XBox....

I'm pretty upset. Javier is such an awesome guy, and he's been moderating for 2 whole years!
I wish we knew what happened...

It does seem a bit draconian, though. I'm guessing that he lashed out in private. I can see his moderator powers struck down for his post here, but not a ban. There's probably more to it.

Seriously?
I mean... like seriously?
Javier... one of their biggest fans and supporters? The same guy who spent so much time with the Mass Effect franchise, who was around since the older Mass Effect forums, who supplied everyone with every info about ME2 before its release, who was a great moderator that kept others in line for over 2 years, a great community member that never broke any BSN rule before and who even voiced acted a bit in Lair of the Shadow Broker?
I would gladly write down my reaction but I don't want to risk getting banned.
Javier, I tip my hat to you sir. I wish you were here, I really do. The BSN has now become lesser without you. Farewell.
